I received my plants and all were healthy and in great shape! Highly recommend!

Arrived and then I fully potted in a larger pot for growth…I’m okay it’s 6” shy: it’s a plant!!

was expecting these to be twice the height for what I paid. maybe they will reach the top fence rail in 20 years!!!

I was a little worried about the quality due to some reviews but mine came full, fresh and green! Can’t wait to see them grow.

I realize I take a chance when ordering plants online. I’m very disappointed that one plant survived less than a year. With a little more care, I hope to save the other one

Bought 3 to block out a small area. Very nice. as I was looking for plants to withstand our climate in Texas- we'll see. Image I have is too large to upload according to HDepot. They like acidic soil- I tested and then added a liquid acidifier- again I'll keep track of the growth progress

I ordered more than I needed because I assumed that for the price and that they were Boeing shipped that I would have some imperfect plants. They were all perfect. Well Packaged. Still moist soil when they arrived. And the price … amazing. I couldn’t be happier.

I received my 2.5 qt sky pencil hollys, packed well, amply moist. Listing said they would be 12-24 inches tall and I was excited to see mine were just a tad over 24 inches tall. One concern about the listing- It states the Sky Pencil Holly is good in zones 5-9, when received the tag says 6-9. I typically chose plants one zone colder than my own (6) to ensure a confident growing/thriving success. I don't know who is responsible for this difference of information, but it should be corrected.

I was overwhelmed on how much care Home Depot took to deliver these beautiful plants they were exactly how they looked on your website and looked even better in person Kudos to all the employees who went beyond,my wife adores them ounce again Thank you.JuanP

We ordered two for our deck pots. I was anxious about ordering sight unseen. The two plants were nicely packaged and arrived safely. I think advertising the plant “average” height at 18” says little about what one receives. Our plants are 14 and 13 inches tall- so we were not the lucky ones to get the 21/22” tall plants. I dont think anything taller would ship in the box used.

Overall the two plants are looking healthy good. I recommend buying was at a good price 13 each. Wished I have bought more. Shipping was fast. I have no regrets at the moment.

They came in great shape! Very impressed with the health. They look better than the ones at the store. Will definately order them online again!

Personally, I enjoy buying the plants at the HD nursery, unfortunately there wasn’t any available. Took a chance online and am very pleased w/the delivery and how well the plants look from the package. Both plants had a plastic cover for the base and to help contain the soil. Soil was still moist, and the sky pencils look great.

purchased online. Delivered by UPS on a hot day last July and left on driveway in full sun. Planted that evening. Plants did very well last summer through winter, green leaves. Spring arrived and 6 out of the 8 died, brown leaves falling off. The return policy, fertilizer must be purchased at same time for a warranty. was never suggested at check out. Go local, same pricing in season and better warranty on plants. 3 other Sky Pencil Japanese Holly ( from local nursery ) are doing very well

Go buy it in the store. What was shipped was tiny. Like 12" tall. The ones in the store are 2-3 times bigger and fuller. I plan to return this and buy one in the store.

I'm impressed with how well they packed these plants for shipping. This is the 3rd time we've purchased them and each time they have arrived on a timely fashion and securely packaged. Most importantly, all 9 of mine are always consistent in size, color ( vibrant dark green) and just beautiful! I planted these last month and they have adapted well.

My plants arrived in 5 days, thriving! I ordered 6 and they were nicely packaged and not dried out whatsoever. They just arrived and I have them in my kitchen sink soaking up any water they desire. I cannot wait to plant them and have my beautiful hedge. They are around 3ft tall, I was delighted with the height! I will be ordering more especially since they survived an Arizona 110+ delivery temperature.

I bought 2 of these and they are very skimpy. These are 7 dollars cheaper than buying in the store(Home Depot). But the store is so much fuller and better overall. I have 2 I bought in the store and they did great. These are not doing well and if I could return them and get my money I would. Pictures below. G. Haggins

Arrived safely packaged and in good condition. Planted them the next day and so far they are looking healthy and green. Not currently the height I want but they will be in a few years, it's a slow growing plant. (I wanted the root structure to grow with the plant, hoping that makes them stronger) My goal is to get these about 6 ft high on the property line of my house.

Pleasantly surprised how well they were packaged. Came very healthy and the price was the big selling point. Best price I found for this plant and this size. Love them!

This Japanese Holly is an attractive evergreen shrubbery that is ideal for bed planting. It is deer resistant and drought resistant, 2 important factors here. It comes securely packaged and shipped in a protective box, with a plastic bag around the pot to contain any spillage. It has small fragrant flowers that attract bees, and grows slowly. It can be pruned aggressively to control size. It looks great!

This Japanese holly “sky pencil” plant arrived in great condition (see picture), and the plant was nicely placed in its container with plenty of soil. Most impressive was the fact it was not a root-bound plant, so you could tell right away that the nursery supplying this plant did a great job in properly growing and packing the plant for transportation (sturdy box and well-marked – see pictures). As you can see from the pictures, the plant was green and healthy with a good root system. I would definitely order plants this way again due to the great condition of this plant. I highly recommend it!

We transplanted the two plants the day after we received them, following all instructions that were provided. We blended the soil as recommended and followed the watering guidelines. Within days, the plants began to look poorly so we fed them a little Miracle Grow, which didn't help. Now, one of the plants is dead, shriveled and brown with few leaves. The other plant is dying and looking the same way as the first plant to die. We've had the plants for two or three weeks

Thanks for asking - well they appear to be slowly turning brown even though I planted them the moment they arrived and have been watering daily. I think the sun is too hot where I planted them for privacy or I planted too late in the season. Its hot out here in Trabuco Canyon!
