I gave 3 stars because it was difficult to stuff in. I'm sure any foam would be. Does what I needed. Happy with my choice. Used it to plump up sofa. Sofa is better. Satisfied.

I put it underneath my couch cushions and it fit perfectly without any kind of trimming at all. They work so well and keep their stability that my mother has no problem getting off of the couch now. That little bit of extra height really helps out a lot. Would highly recommend!

I bought this foam to the top of my AC to reduce the noise of dripping of other ACs from top floors. The size is perfect and even a bit bigger for a 10,000 BTU AC. I secured it to the AC with nylon ties and that's it. It is strong enough for wind, rain or storms.

Cat approved!
Bought this to use on a homemade window perch for the cat. Much cheaper option than spending the $25 price for a store bought one. I cut the foam using a utility knife and then glued it to a piece of pine board, stapled a piece of scrap fabric to it, then mounted it to the wall with shelf brackets. As other reviewers have noted, the utility knife does make the cut edge jagged, but it didn't matter for this application. Read the Q&A section for tips on how to make clean cuts. I bought this in-store, and it was a bit yellowed around the edges, but it didn't matter for this application. The foam is thick and of good quality. I think it would make a good cushion for humans as well.

I've been planning and comparing and shopping for well over a month to create a tufted headboard for my master bedroom. This was the cheapest I've found 2 inch foam anywhere. It came wrapped in a very tight bundle of 4 at a time. One of my bundles, the foam looked to have yellowed around the edges a bit. There wasn't any else wrong with it other than appearance and it was going under several layers so it didn't affect my project at all. I wish they sold it in larger sections. What I got wasn't cut square so there was some very minor finagling to get everything lined up. Admittedly, for my chosen application, it didn't have to be perfect and worked just fine once it was glued to the MDF. Everywhere I've read recommends using an electric cutting knife to slice through it (this is also how they do it at fabric stores). I do not own an electric cutting knife so I used a straight edge and my favorite utility knife with a fresh blade. It worked. It wasn't terribly pretty. Scissors cut nicely if you haven't already glued everything down, but they are difficult to maintain a straight edge, as even the slightest angle to your cut will be seen in the foam. (See image) Again, if it's going underneath something, it doesn't truly matter. All in all, I would definitely buy this product again should I have a project that calls for it.
