They are good and bright BUT they will not fit in the lamp halo I got them for and they didn't come with the extensions I have seen before.

It broke with few days. :(

I love these bulbs, they have many applications. I don't understand why they are not available in the store?

The bulb is much too large to fit with the fixture on my lamp AND it's not returnable by mail. I'm a high risk for COVID-19, so I can not physically go to Home Depot to return, so I'm out $40 at a time when I don't have any money. Who cares, no one. So much for being elderly and alone.

I needed these to brighten up my garage using just the two existing ceiling light fixtures and they did a great job at that. Using "Y" screw in adapters I was able to put 300 watt equiv. at each fixture and that makes the two car garage as bright as day. The bulbs themselves are a little bit bulky but it takes that size to get that much output. Definitely a quick and efficient way to brighten up any large area.

Bulb should have the lumen output of 150W bulb but it has perhaps a 60 watt bulb output - terrible bulb. Also, the packing and bulb containers came apart at the seams shortly after I got home. I would return it but I don't want to go into the store because of Covid-19.

Works on my motion light , thermal detection motion sensor. Needs more than 40 watts resistance to work.

Great lighting for areas that are extremely dark!

If you had one brighter I'd try it but not sure I'd like it.In fact I thought I had ordered a brighter one but got what I gotI've got a new kitchen floor & my wife hates as colors appear much darker than envisioned.Daylight is better to expose but also not a warm feel.150 watt warm also served us well as a kitchen light for reading and dining.I use 150 warm in living room & they have been great.the 150 daylight is used with motion detector in my basement tool roomit is excellent

I have been using the lamps for years in our green house during the winter months. Our plants thrive during the winter and are ready to set back out in the spring.

Its a bright white color light.
