There are two distinct features with this LED light bulb. The first feature is that at 300 watts and 4060 lumens it is bright (daylight 5000K). The second feature is that the bulb is heavier than a standard LED light bulb weighing in at 12.6 ounces, so just make certain the lamp fixture is sturdy and stable. It is also important to note that this bulb is not dimmable.

This 300-WATT equivalent light bulb is VERY bright. I have it in an application that I could never use this bright of a bulb because of the heat a 300-WATT incandescent bulb would give off. I like the color of the 3000K as well. The bulb is quite large so remember to keep that in mind to make sure the size works for your application. The pictures below compare a 100 watt equivalent cfl vs. this bulb. The picture doesn’t quite do it justice as it is considerably brighter than it looks in this picture. I like it!

This 200-WATT equivalent light bulb is bright. The light bulb is also large. You will need to keep this in mind if you are installing it in some sort of enclosed fixture. The other thing to keep in mind is that it lights in the top part of the light bulb, not the entire bulb so if that is also an issue in your application, don’t forget to keep that in mind. None of these are faults of the bulb, just something to keep in mind. The bulb is great and bright for my use and I like it!

This bulb was used to cut through the gloom in the attic. The 5000k bulb provides very useful light in this space especially compared to the older fluorescent bulb, as you can see in the attached photos. The bulb says daylight referring to the temperature,but the bulb certainly does bring daylight to this space. Without this bulb there really should be a second fixture to light up this space.

I ALREADY HAVE FOUR SUPPLEMENTAL FLUORESCENT LIGHT FIXTURES IN THE GARAGE BECAUSE I DO MANY PROJECTS IN THERE. WELL, TO SAY I AM IMPRESSED WOULD BE AN UNDERSTATEMENT. WHEN I TURNED THIS BULB ON IT WAS LIKE DAYLIGHT FILLING THE WHOLE GARAGE. I THEN TURNED THE FLUORESCENT FIXTURES BACK ON YOU COULD BARELY SEE ANY DIFFERENCE. I ONLY WISH I HAD FOUND THIS BULB BEFORE.

Feit Electric 300-Watt Equivalent A23 Warm White (3000K) ENERGY STAR LED Light Bulb (1-Bulb) Wow, this can light up the all room.... I put it above my computer work station as I need a lot of light as I sometimes need to read small writing and my eyes not as they used to be( especially for the small fine print) and with a lot of light it helps me to see better, this bulb make it all much easier.

Super bright! I used this to replace an old compact florescent bulb in a ceiling fan light fixture on my back porch. It's hard to desire how much brighter this LED bulb is! Before, I could barely see to unlock the door on the porch and now it's bright enough to sit and read a book. Plus the fact that it's LED means energy savings and a very long life. Great substitution!

I like other Feit Electric products and was glad to have an opportunity to evaluate this LED light bulb. This bulb produces a significant amount of light while operating a a relatively cool temperature... much cooler that a Feit 3-Way bulb. Packaging is good and does a good job of protecting the product. The attached pictures show this bulb compared to a Feit 3-way LED 50-100-150 warm white bulb.

This light bulb is a beast! I have a single bulb chandelier over my kitchen table that has a smaller feit bulb in it normally, but no longer will I use the smaller bulb. This thing lights up the entire area with no problem whatsoever. It actually lights up the area better than one of my rooms with 4 can lights. The bulb is literally twice the size of a normal bulb. I will show a picture for comparison purposes.

First off, Feit is a brand I have trusted for years. This lamp comes in a stout, individual box which protects it very well. Although I was unable to measure the light output (luminous flux, or lumens) it is VERY bright. The heat produced is a fraction of what an incandescent equivalent or even a CFL would produce. The stated wattage consumed is accurate. (If anything, I would place doubt on the meter I used.) I am pleased with this lamp, and will seek the Feit brand when I next need LED lamps.

This is a very bright LED light bulb. I love the fact that it gives an equivalent wattage. It is as bright as a 200W light bulb, but only uses 25w. I am using it in my garage. I would NOT use it for outdoors as it is not waterproof. I did include a comparison picture of before and after 100w vs 200w. I have used a rough service bulb, but with the LED, I don't think it will be necessary.

The Feit Electric 300 watt LED bulb is packaged very well in an attractive package. This LED bulb puts out 4060 lumens. It also comes with a 3 year warranty so if this bulb fails they will replace it. The bulb also lights up instantly not like some LED bulbs that have to warm up. The bulb only uses 33 watts to operate this really saves you money. It has a Energy savings of $734 and uses 89 percent less energy. I add this bulb to my light fixture in the front of my home and the lighting difference over the regular LED bulb I had installed is noticeable even my neighbor said wow what kind of light is that I need one of those for my house.

We kept upping the lumens in the portable fixture used for the sewing room without improving the situation… until this bulb. It loads like a conventional bulb for conventional fixtures, but beware, it is over-sized for most lamps. Not its base, just its bulk, and length. The bulb also is very heavy, so make sure your fixture can handle the extra weight of the bulb. That aside, at least the sewing machine is accessible even on cloudy or dark days because this bulb is a full 3050 lumens, just right to light an entire room.

Caution, these bulbs are VERY large and heavy. We needed the extra fire power to light up the workshop, and these have 4060 lumens… they are VERY bright, just what was needed. Make sure your fixture can handle the extra length and weight of these bulbs. They are Energy Star certified, so they will conserve and hopefully last for the time advertised. Because they are mercury free, no special waste required when they burn out, and all bulbs burn out.

Wow! This bulb is incredibly bright! 4060 lumens! I have a small pantry and even tho there is a light in the top of it, it was difficult to see some of the things on the lower shelves. I installed this bulb and it lit up the entire pantry! This bulb is rather large and pretty heavy (compared to regular bulbs)so it is best used without a covering. Unless you have a large hanging light possibly over stairs or an entryway. I am pleased with this bulb. It is very bright and just what I needed to light up my pantry!

These bulbs are expensive and I would have expected them to last a long time. But they seem to go bad within a year.

They were better than expected And cost a reasonable amount

Got the job done. Very happy with the aera it covers. We are seniors who need more light to read and see now. Have been using it for about three weeks.
