The posts themselves seem sturdy. However after buying these and then trying to fit the post caps after purchase they DO NOT FIT! An employee also verified they don't fit. He suggested to talk with the pro manager. But he was too busy on the phone. Said they aren't the right caps. The part number Fiberon 1004119669 do not fit. That is the part number that says it is for the posts. Writing this review so someone else doesn't have the frustration like I did. Ending up returning everything and buying Veranda posts with caps that actually fit it. Not much help from Home Depot

This was purcased to replace another post sleeve that had been in use for a decade.

The sleeve was tight, making it a process to get on the post, it fit perfectly.

The only 3 left in the store location was waiting for me. They were a great fit and just what I needed.

Didn't fit over 4 x 4 post. Not usable for our project. Wasted our money because the post was cut and couldn't be returned

Dresses up the 4x4 post I have our birdfeeder mounted on, plus it doesn't appear like the squirrels have been able to climb up the sleeve!!

Great product! Used right over 4x4 posts as decorative, no maintenance finish.
