This is one of the best ceiling fans we have . It's remarkable how quiet the motor and blades are . It absolutely blows air around. Everyone at our Christmas part were impressed at how unique it is with the wood grain galaxy surrounding the fan blades. the LED lights are bright . It was easy to install and the remote works well.

Love it, but it has some quirks
I fell in love with this fan at first sight. It looks like a nice modern light fixture but is secretly a fan! It looks great, and has an added bonus of not having integrated LED lighting, so bulbs can be replaced as they burn out. - For reference, the wood-colored accents are actually painted metal, but they look great. The fan itself is very directional, which is to say that it moves a lot of air directly underneath it, but doesn't circulate much air throughout the room, the way most ceiling fans do. The fan itself is plastic, so may be less durable than the rest of the fan. - The biggest flaw is that the installation instructions require you to install with the remote control unit (and tells you not to hard wire it in directly). This would have been annoying enough, but to add insult to injury, the remote only worked within 4 feet of the fan, which meant that to turn the light on, you would have to walk part of the way into our very small bedroom. That's obviously a terrible design. We solved the problem by taking out the remote control box and wiring the fixture directly. It works beautifully under the control of our wall switch, but the installation instructions say not to do this, so talk to an electrician before deciding what installation options are right for you.
