Hello, I ordered a Firstime 29" Roman Oil Rubbed Bronze Wall Clock from Home Depot. When received I put a battery in and set the time. The clock did work just fine until 8:10 when the hands locked up because the large hand got hung up with the small hand. I returned the clock to Home Depot and the sent me another on I just received today. I went to set the clock and the same thing happened in which the two hands locked up because of them touching each other at the 8:10 mark. Attached it a picture where the two hands are locking up. We really like the look of the clock, but are afraid to order a third one fearing a design flaw and any new one may lock up the same way.

The clock was a gift for my wife and she lives it. It really is a beautiful piece.

We had to take the clock apart because the minute hand and hour hand kept rubbing together so it would be stuck . Had to bend the hands away from each other!

Here we go returning second one. Return the first one for hands getting stuck just hung up the second one they sent after refund and reorder exact same one and exact same thing happened. Thank goodness they pick it up for free because I'm ready to scream. I should have read the reviews!!

Each clock, total of 4, from this company have all NOT worked out of the box. Hands got stuck or the correct times could not be displayed unless you took clock apart.

I really loved the style & size of the clock, but it has a flaw in the design. The fancy ends of the hour and minute hands cross over and become stuck together & therefore stops showing the time mechanism.

Clock arrived with minute hand fallen off and a bent screw in one of the four pads on the back. I had to take it apart three times to get it working, which meant bending the minute hand outward from the middle so that the tip of it moves against the inside of the face. The screws that hold the face to the frame of the clock screw into a plastic piece; one of the pieces is broken away from the frame, so there is a gap now. The reason I give an average rating is because I love the way this clock looks and was determined to get it working.

That bad I returned it.

We love this clock! We did have to take it apart to bend the hands a bit so that they didn’t get caught as they passed each other. After we did that, it has worked perfectly ever since. I would recommend this clock.

Nice clock for the price

The clock itself is a very nice piece. I had the same issue with the hands sticking when passing each other. Had to take the front piece off to adjust the hands a bit. Would be a 5 star but gave it a 3 due to having to fix it myself.

Ordered the clock 3 times and each time it did not work. I emailed the company directly and did not receive a reply

Wish the following 2 things: 1) would like a “seconds” hand 2) the lines between the Roman numerals should be thinner, IMO The clock is beautifully constructed, though. Good quality!

At first the hands would stick to each other. We took the cover off to adjust the arms, so they would not touch. Clock now works properly and it looks great!

I bought this and love the look. Nice large size for a big blank wall above our TV. I kept feeling that something was off, and it finally hit me (at 4:12 this afternoon!!). It has a “IIII” instead of a “IV”. Hmmm. Makes for a great conversation piece now.

Clock was just what I expected.....a perfect piece or "art" for a big space that is functional. Love it!!
