  • Great units easy to install and giving better protection for multiple areas

The units were quite easy to program and install for the wireless connection. The video instructions on the CD were good. We have noticed that the unit near the kitchen, does not have the many nuisance alarms that our former unit (of another type) had. In our place, the wireless connection with alarm signals at all units are important, as the garage is under the living quarters. An alarm sounding in the garage would probably not be heard in the bedrooms, if it were not for the wireless connectivity in this system.

Product was as described. Only one screw to mount so very quick and easy. I wanted a dual smoke detector ( photo cell and ionization ) as well as carbon monoxide but had to settle for ionization only because no one manufactures a dual detector with CO detection. How dumb is that! So I had to buy a second set of smoke detectors to cover both types of detection. The link between detectors when one detects smoke was via dip switches and easy to set and worked when tested. No fires or smoke yet so I can't tell you if they work well but I am pleased with the products so far.

Useless, bought 8 units and they would not connect to each other, 5 would connect then disconnect when we tried connecting the other 3. Wasted over an hour messing with them before we packed them up and they are going back to Home Depot. In one word "useless"

The smoke detectors was easy to program. I know that we will be safe if there was to be a fire in our home, because its loud and is placed in each room of the home. The price wasn't bad because it came in a two pack with a saving of $15 each.

Installs easily and seems to work pretty well. The instructions actually make it seem more complicated than it really is. The alarm is nice and loud, although the talking feature seems more of a gimmick. Somewhat on the pricey side.

I love the smoke detector. I purchased 3 packs for 3 bedroom, basement, living room and hallway. I had trouble getting them interconnected, but I finally got to work. They were expensive but they are worth it.
