409 cleaner/customer service
Ordered a pack of four only got three talked with customer service, and they told me that according to the poundage it was four in the box. I then asked what the poundage was supposed to be and they said 34 pound a little bit over. With three in the box, it was 36 pounds. Told me I was supposed to get a hold of my bank. This is poor customer service. Clearly there is only three in the box and I sent them the pictures als….. think that the customer service needs to be trained a little more due to seeing pictures you can clearly see there is only three and the plastic bag isn’t even open yet. Totally recommend the product but don’t have it shipped because there’s no guarantee that you’ll get what you want even when you call and give them pictures.

A GREAT multi purpose cleaner that cleans without having to scrub or soak the surface for an extended period. I have tried wipes and soaking sprays to clean the heavily soiled surfaces like the bathroom sink with all the hairspray that always seems to take a lot of scrubbing or soaking to get it clean...not so with 409. I simply sprayed it on my surface and wiped it clean and no 2nd application needed whatsoever! A GREAT cleaning product!!

It is "409" so it has the reputation of being a pretty good product. I really agree with that statement regarding this MULTI-SURFACE CLEANER. My test was the outside of my grill and the side tables attached. Left over was the stuff from the Super Bowl that I cooked........grease and the such. Cut right through the grease, dirt and grime. The grill hasn't looked so good for a while. The label says it "kills" the following (shortened to the common man's language): Salmonella, E Coli, Staph, Flu A Virus and Herpes Simplex A. To me that is really impressive. When used to disinfect food surfaces the surface must be rinsed with clean water. The product is refillable. I would highly recommend this product!

The cleaner so good it doesn't need a fancy name, just the number of the formula used to develop it. Formula 409 has been around as long as I can remember and it's a great multi-purpose cleaner. This iteration of it has a nice light lemon scent, with no chemical smell to it. It does an incredible job cutting through grease and doesn't leave a visible film. It's safe for all surfaces, however, I don't use it on clear plastic (I only use dish detergent and water on clear plastics as I'm afraid chemical cleaners will cloud the plastic).

The 32 oz. Multi-Surface Cleaner is such a handy cleaner to have in every room of your house! I took a picture of the side of the bottle because, like it states on the picture, this cleaner is perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, garages (and really every other room you make a mess in). It doesnt smell like hardcore cleaning chemicals (thankfully) and gets deep into any scum and grime to remove it easily!

Strong cleaner, smells good, and easy to spray. I use this mostly in the kitchen. Its good at removing grease on the stove and caked on stuff on the counter top. It wipes away easily without leaving any residue. I like the lemon scent - its a very "clean" smell without being too strong or "chemical" in odor. I really like that the bottle design integrates the hose such that it goes all the way to the front bottom of the bottle. This way you can spray with it held at any angle and you can use every last drop.

The spray bottle is well designed to fit comfortably in your hand. It has just a simple “on, off” spray dial without any “fine spray” or “stream” options. The lemon scent is soft and subtle, not overbearing.
Though the label states “Kills 99.9% of bacteria & viruses”, you can’t just spray and immediately wipe expecting that it has done so. On food counters, the instructions say it can kill germs but you have to let it stand for 10 minutes before wiping it off. Then it says to rinse afterwards. However, on nonfood surfaces, to disinfect, it just has to set for 30 seconds before wiping off and no rinsing required. In all fairness, these are similar instructions that are on other cleaning products claiming to kill germs. So, If you’re impatient like me and you just spray and wipe, then we’re not actually getting that sanitizing benefit.
It does clean all our kitchen surfaces well, including laminate countertops, stainless steel appliances and sink, glass cooktop and cabinets, leaving them streak-free.

Overview use/audience: Multi-surface cleaner; bleach free. To kill 99.9% of household germs leave surface wet for 30 seconds.
My Experience: This cleaner can be used on a variety of surfaces and leaves a noticeable but not overpowering lemon scent. The product is good if you have formica, corian, tile, and quarz counters. It is also good for stainless steel, laminate, linoleum, pergo, brick, fiberglass, and wood surfaces.
For granite and glass there are separate products.
Pros:
- pleasant but not overpowering odor
- kills viruses and bacteria
- useful on many surfaces
- doesn't leave residue
Cons:
- because it kills bacteria; I'd be careful pouring it down the drain in a septic system
- covers many but not all surfaces
Final Verdict: Overall, I'm satisfied with scent and ease of use of 409 multi-surface. However, I don't use it on non-recommended surfaces.

Again, really can't go wrong with the 409 brand. and I also needed a spray that can deal with grease clean up as well. And with the price I couldn't go wrong!

We have rental homes & 409 is an excellent product to clean & sanitize them after residents leave. It's the difference between looking moderately clean and actually being exceptionally clean.
