The old spout was easy to take off and replace with the new purchased spout. It is unfortunate that diverter leaks after several years due to hard water scaling, and there is no way to easily repair it other than replace the whole spout.

If it sets a while that spouts out rust from inside and frequently takes multiple settings to get the diverter to work and divert the water to the shower head. For the price I paid I'm fairly disappointed

This produce is easy to install and looks FANTASTIC as the sculpted diverter is just beautiful to look at and use. I have shopped for a diverter spout for several weeks and this design works with both traditional and transitional interiors. I am very very happy with this spout and wish I had gotten it years earlier than I did!

Product does not function as the item it replaced. Old Forte diverter functioned with PVC. This product requires copper pipe with larger i.d. to function. Since I’m not going to remodel my bathroom just to make this lousy thing work, I’ll be finding a different diverter.

Excellent product, I shouldn't have paid for this spout, Kohler product is 100% warranted, if you have Kohler product installed in your house, you get a free replacement parts. Home Depot should reimburse me for this spout!

The spout was easy enough to install but when diverted to shower I noticed water continues to drip from the spout. The brushed nickel looks really nice and the spout fits tightly against the shower wall.

Not a slip-fit
I also had to return this spout and order the K-10281, which is the slip-fit model. The item listings appear almost identical, except that the 10281 overview description actually states slip-fit, whereas the 10280 simply says wall-mount. Easy mistake to make... from now on I will thoroughly read the item overviews before ordering!

If you need a brushed chrome finish, this is one of the few good products you will find. Nice style.
