I replaced an old 5000 BTU unit with this model. The new one doesn’t cool nearly as well as the 5000btu unit. Very disappointed but don’t really have the energy to take it out of the window and return it. This is the first times I have not been happy with a product from Home Depot. Will continue to be a loyal customer but this product is not the quality you normally see from HD

Great window A/C! Runs quietly and puts out a good airflow. The remote control monitors the temperature where it is placed and controls that spot to the set temperature.

the item came damage from shipping twice and had to return both of them ,quess shipping dont care hoe they deliver the productthe plug was damage twice and the core was damage plus the case and from plastic cover

Excellent unit. Came with wall braces for outside and all foam insulation for trim.love the dry feature for decreasing humidity. Auto works great. Light display can be turned off for light sensitive sleepers. I don't use sleep mode as I like it to stay at 66 degrees throughout the night. Quiet motor.

It work good but....

Mostly positive, easy install, works well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased 2 of this unit. Installed 1 so far in place of an old Frigidaire that was making noise from time to time. Stored the 2nd until possibly next spring to replace a Frigidaire unit with much less usage than the 1st one and still working fine. Would have given a 5-star rating except that one of the accordion-pleated side panels already had a small split right out of the box.

To whom it may concern:
I picked up this AC unit and installed it last weekend, as you can see it had some internal damage to both the side and rear of the AC unit. I plan to keep it as the location it was needed at was 250 miles from Houston so I did not want to bring it home to exchange.
My question is can I get some type of credit to offset this damage? Please advise.
