Make u have a enough space for the seal to go on

I had ordered this online and did a local pickup. After, he had cut the door bottom to size and installed the 2-sided 3M tape (My husband doesn't like installing these to the doors with the screws, if it needs to be replaced you can't always get an exact lineup), when he did a dry fit, that's when it was realized it was to narrow and not meant for the doors we have. When he showed me what happened, I told him this is not what I ordered and showed him the receipt. Figure we could use it on an a room interior door that we don't heat, the front to back was to narrow. This is what they filled the order with Frost King 1-3/4 in. x 36 in. Easy to install and worked great

This bottom seal work well on older doors when the old seal wears out.

I had a steel exterior door that had some rust along the bottom edge, and the bottom door sweeps had deteriorated. I sanded and repainted the door, removed the old sweep, and replaced it with this. It worked perfect. It comes up around the bottom edges to cover and protect the area where the rust used to be and created new sweep edges for a weather tight seal.

I'm an exterminator these saved me in so many ways for rodents sliding under doorways.

The door bottom works ok. It is a little soft under the hot Texas weather so it is not a perfect tight fit.

Easy to install, had to saw a little off the end. Hoping it keeps the bugs out.

Purchased this item not to keep the cold air from getting into my home, rather to keep pests from getting into my home, for example, lizards, frogs, ants, rain worms, etc…In addition, also purchased to seal the gap at the bottom of the door to keep the cold air (A/C) inside. Fits like a glove, attractive brown finish compliments my exterior tan door color well. Easy to install, would buy again.
