Solved my door and window draft problems.

So far it is doing great. Used it for my front and rear doors to fill in the gaps and it is working well. It makes the door a bit harder to close but no more light leaks.

I bought these to help seal 3D printed covid-19 masks. Easy to manipulate, soft to the touch l, but still firm. The adhesive did really well on it’s own for the first few days, but then would slowly peel away from the PLA material. No stars deducted though since not used as intended.

This foam weather strip works well, It comes in an 8.5 ft roll that you can use as one piece for a 5/8 wide by 1/4 tall weatherstrip or easily tear down the middle for 17 ft of 5/16 wide 1/4 tall weatherstrip. The foam itself has a nice feel to it and has fairly small cells and is very flexible. The adhesive is good but not outstanding, I didn't have any of the non sticking problems that some of the other reviewers noticed, for me it stuck well on latex paint and metal, it would even re-stick after I pulled it off and put it back on. It seems to hold and recover it's shape well after being compressed. All in all decent weather strip that does what it is supposed to do.

This D-profile weatherseal I think is much better than the flat weatherseal. I had flat stripping around my front door, but I could still see light coming through the frame at certain areas (specifically near the bottom). I replaced the flat strips with the D-profile (i.e., tube) strip and ‘voila’, no light can be detected. The packaging states it will fill gaps from ¼” to 1/8”. It further states that it’s made of premium rubber foam, will harden, crack, or freeze, and retains its shape in sub-zero temps. Time will tell on those counts, but I’m happy with the results.

This Frost King Weatherstrip Tape is worth it's weight in gold. I've discovered it creates an amazing sound barrier, as well as preventing heat and cold drafts from entering your home. I wasn't aware how much a small to medium sized gap around the entire peripheral of a doorway could impact energy usage. I also didn't realize there was so much traffic noise penetrating through these open spaces until I started installing the weatherstrip tape. Wow. It's beyond awesome. I'm going back to pick up more to cover all my windows and entryway doors, because the noise from traffic is so horrible. The tape is actually a firm type of foam that expands and shrinks. It has a sticky backing for attaching to the door or window frame. I love it.

I requested this Weatherstripping through the Home Depot Seeds reviewers program to close up some significant gaps on our back door that we had to replace after we had a break-in. At the time, we were a bit strapped for cash after having just recently purchasing the home and so we had to go with the cheapest emergency carpenter to hang the new steel door and reframe the wall that was badly damaged by the deadbolt being kicked in. Unfortunately, the carpenters did not hang the door precisely enough and the result was the top having an increasing gap the closer you get to the lock side of the door frame and the deadbolt side of door frame had a continuous even gap top to bottom which literally let daylight stream through. So as you can see in my pictures, I put the weatherstripping on the side the door closes against the frame as well as the remainder of the coil of weatherstripping between the storm door metal edge and the wood piece the door closes against. Overall I am very pleased and I already told the wife I'll be buying another package to finish that door. For our front door, we require something that can seal up a gap that is more than 1" on the bottom of the door to the sill plate and then this same product on the side and top of the door. Then we would likely do the same on the front storm door closing off the enclosed porch.

I installed this on my back door leading in from the garage. I have used several others and just could not get them to adhere. This one worked great. It is thick and durable. It covered the gap both on the inside and outside as it wrapped around the door frame and covered all the gap. I recommend this product for those hard to fill places and those with large gaps.

This is the good stuff. The adhesive sticks very very well to clean surfaces and the rubber feels tough. The strip has two individual 5/16" wide pieces connected together with separate adhesive backing so you just pull it apart and have two strips. You could even use it as a double too but the length of 17' is measured as single strips so you would only get half the length if you didn't separate them. Perfect for windows and doors, etc.. I've been very happy with this weatherstrip so far and definitely recommend it!
