Love the product but measurements only lists the height and width of the bottom square section. I must have missed the sizing for the top WING part, which is an additional 1.5 inches on each side. Needed for a door that is in between two pillars and the winged part did not fit. Otherwise, it can be a beautiful, easy, paintable, glue up way to imitate the existing look of my home. Will try again.

Items arrived nicely packaged to ensure they would not be damaged. Easy to paint and install. Has truly enhanced the look of the front entrance to my home. The items were exactly as described.

This product was exactly as advertised. It comes primed and ready for paint. If you are expecting something that feels like wood you may be disappointed since this feels more like styrofoam. However even though it was light and slightly flexible there was no indication that it isn’t durable.

Beware! This Poduct : Fypon 40-1/2 in. x 6 in. Polyurethane Window and Door Crosshead as described Is not 40 1/2 in wide, it is 40 in. wide. Look at Fypon specs before ordering. I had no problem returning but still a nuisance. Also beware of these polyurethane crossheads if you expect a perfect unblemished item. I purchased four, different sizes and everyone of them arrived slightly damaged with dings and dents on them. Fypon does not package them well for shipping so be prepared to live with the damages (some worse than others, mainly on corners) or you will have to return.

Good product for the purpose - looks and feels as expected.

Ordered this particular cross head since it matched another one we have on a different door. Delivery was amazing as it arrived in less than a week which was way sooner than originally told at checkout. Very light to work with. Painted effortlessly to match the door and trim. Used a nail gun to attach to wall. Makes a striking appearance. End result is beautiful. Extremely happy with purchase.

Very cheaply made does not look like it would hold up in the elements outside. Even the boxes fragile, so how is that gonna be a long lasting? I returned it.

Pricey for very light foam made material.

The product was as advertised and looks great above my front door. I attached it with three 3” deck screws, driven in slightly below the surface, and caulked with white silicone. It transformed my entryway.

Over priced for cheap material

Sizes available were not a match for my house windows. The material they are made of were not possible to cut, so I returned them.

Looks great. Now my neighbors want to do their windows

These are handy, but over priced, IMHO, easy to use Hoods/Crossheads for a window. I put two over some conventional windows and one over a project installation of an 1880's stained glass window. The function of the Hood/Crosshead is to deflect water. snow. &tc away from the window woodwork, and fashion as a 02nd item. In an era of plastic windows, water damage is unlikely, save for leaks, but in my 1886 "I" House, these are BOTH useful and an ornament to the house. Beware; these are light and fragile to a fault. The instructions say 'glue up'; perhaps on new construction; but for an after addition, I used brass screws and made the screw heads part of the decoration. I also counter sunk one set. So, if you do not have the skills and or time, to make your own cheaper, these are a good way to go, and they do not rot.

I changed my mind and returned it.

Crazy, website only offers me two sizes. I'd buy it, if they'd offer me options.

Easy way to class up the outside of your home

Adds a little more style to the front of our home

Perfect to class up the outside of our home. Easy to attach. A must to make a simple house gain style.

The heft of the crosshead was lighter than expected, but it worked just fine and is an attractive add to my entry. I was dismayed to learn I had to buy two units since I only have one front door. Two crossheads came - in separate boxes - and I was able to return the second. Seems a bit wasteful, but since freight was covered, I moved forward with the purchase. The material seems durable, and should last for years to come.

I bought 4 of these to put over the windows in front of my house. What a really nice difference it makes! I did paint them white to match the white on the window frames. Looks great! All of them came in great shape. Liked so much I bought another one to put over the front door.
