Had a brand new roof installed 5 weeks before hurricane Ian destroyed it. I liked the product so much I went with the exact same roof after the hurricane. I love everything about my new roof

I had my roof replaced with these a year ago. They were professionally installed, but we had it inspected 9 months later and the inspection revealed that the shingles were wearing out almost 10x faster than they should have (see picture). The roofer agreed that there was a problem, and recommended asking GAF for support in replacing my roof, as the shingles were clearly defective. GAF rejected my claim and said there was no evidence of any defect, and refused to pay to get it fixed. Don't buy!

I replaced my aging roof this month, just in time for a typical rainy Oregon winter. I am impressed with the color options that were available, and absolutely love the look of the new roof. Additionally, I am extremely happy about the GAF ridge vent, and roof vents that were installed which I expect will cool down my attic during the summer months. I previously had only an attic exhaust fan, which barely made a dent in the trapped heat; so when I heard I wouldn't need it thanks to all the extra venting from the ridge vent and roof vents, I was happy to see it go. I have peace of mind that my new roof will stand the test of time, and may outlive me!
