My excellent roofer installed these shingles and they look flat, shiny, and very cheap. I live in an area with multimillion dollar homes and was replacing a cedar roof. Color of my brick house didn't go with real slate so went with this. It looks flat and cheap. VERY disappointed, especially since I paid a fortune for it. I agree with Workhog who had the same feeling and roof was installed about the same time.

Great substitute for common shingles. This product changed the entire look of my house.

Pricey but truly royal in appearance and durability. I bought these to extend my bedroom. They matched well with the Mariner Blue Slate l bought from GAF in 2002, which GAF does not make anymore.

Classy shingles

Second time I have used these type shingles and very satisfied both times.

I expected more thickness or definition to the look of the shingles. These are no thicker than normal less expensive 3 tab shingles. They are an approximate size of a slate shingle with a wide gap between tabs.

Ithought the shingle would be a lot thicker when I first purchased it. But the look is perfect and the coverage and revel is amazing.

They are the same brand and type of shingles I've had on my home since it was built 23 years ago

The Slateline shingles looks great on my Victorian home. The main house still has slate shingles and the new porch and addition roofs look fabulous with the main roof.

Great material, easy enstolation. Very unsatisfying vith delivery. Delayed for 2 weeks that make stop and delay my construction project.

Interested in something different than the typical wood-shake shingle that you see common on almost every new house and replacement today. The Slateline shingle was chosen for its more distinct linear visual appearance and dimensional depth.

Our shingles are of high quality and have a designer look. The color and the slate look add to the character of our home. Great addition.

We are pleased with the style,  color and pattern.

After 83 years with asbestos tile,  the new shingles refresh the appearance and look really good.

The completed roof,  along with a metal ridge roll and metal valleys,  really look like a cleaned up slate roof.
