Easy to cut and place on my roof valley, and so far has worked well.

Easy to apply

GAF really makes the starter line so simple, fast, and durable! Naturally still need drip edge and underlayment, but then Roll this out, set it, and before you know it, the main roofing is started, and there is NO chance for any seam aligning wrong... there are NO seams!

This starter shingles works great. Easy to install, just peel and stick. I will be getting another one soon.

I gave the Peel and Stick Starter roll only 3 stars due to it being very difficult to get it started straight when working alone. I tried over and over again to get it straight, fighting the stickiness and the plastic peel off. After struggling with it on a ladder for about 10 minutes, I had to cut about 3 feet off because it had become so dirty it wouldn't stick any more. Then I proceeded to cut this stuff into approx 3 ft sections and basically applied it just like you would regular starter shingles. This stuff might be better if you had someone helping, but for working alone, I found it very difficult.

I wasn’t impressed with the quality it didnt seem to be very sticky. Which sometimes they are too sticky but thos one was not enough stick.

Good material , excellent

Excellent product. Works better than the standard starter strips, used in the roofing industry. Granulated surface is great. The self-adhesive backing adds extra protection. And the asphalt sealing strips is a great added value. Overall this improved product should help with blow-offs. I use this product in all my reroof projects. I will usually use this product in many of the repair jobs as well. Great improvement, indeed.
