I don’t know if it would be my first choice...
I don’t know if it would be my first choice for ridge vent but it is a good vent material for other purposes. I needed that material in a flat form and this worked great.

This is the way to go for installing a RidgeVent on any "Metal Roof" including Standing Seam or Screw Down panels.. You need to use this on metal roofing period. don't rely on gable vents to do the job you need done.

Not the same quality product I am used to using, but I needed some roll vent and it was all they had. In the future I will plan better, and pick it up from my roofing supplier.

Cobra Ridge Vent
Used for years always works great when installed correctly. Don't over cut the ridge opening. 3 1/2" enough. Ventilation works great, bugs can't penetrate it. Doesn't get brittle like plastic vending. Give high marks.

The material is not very rigid, when nailing the shingle on top you end up with a sponge roof cap...

I have used this product in the past for several...
I have used this product in the past for several roofing projects that require a ridge vent and it works amazing. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is due to the supplied nails being provided were not like they used to be. These were supplied as a portion of a coil roll of roof nails not loose.

Hello, as per the installation instructions, folks should take care not to overdrive the nails to ensure the ridge cap does not crush the vent underneath. This is very typical of any mesh roll ridge vent product. When installed properly, leaving the vent at approxiamatley 5/8" thickness, the product airflow is properly maintained.
