I purchased a new home with an old garage sided with similar (and damaged) cement-board siding. I assumed I would have to re-side the whole thing, but found these exact same-dimension fiber-cement siding shingles and they matched perfectly. I was delighted. *Note: These are DANG brittle and you can't just drive a nail or screw into them- they'll instantly split on you. Each shingle comes with 3 pre-drilled nail holes along the long edge, which you'll need an old-fashioned nail (with head) for as the holes are pretty large, approx 1/8" dia. Nail-gun nails will not work (I tried it with my Porter-Cable trim nailer. Just blew out the backs of each spot.

Product was just about an exact replacement to the existing siding. If you’re careful handling it and cut it properly ( i used a diamond wheel on a hand grinder) you wont have any problem..

very rigid. needed different size and the product broke into when cutting with jigsaw and masonry blade. only needed 1 more board but you don't send single boards. had to paste two broken boards together and lots of caulk..

The good, it looks just like the original asbestos, The bad, very fragile not easy to work with, expensive.

Matched my old asbestos siding perfectly. Cuts easily with a tile saw. Once I painted the house lookes perfect again!
