the paper on the back was basically sealed together and...
the paper on the back was basically sealed together and wouldnt peel off easily. wound up wasting half the roll.

Good product, very sturdy and well priced. Sticks well but in the summer sun will make your boots sticky as the bitumen 'escapes'

Good product, not too thick but glues well
Good product, really should have 2 people to install it.I did it alone and found it unpleasant to hold so many things, and the white glue cover comes off somewhat ok, but managing such a large and heavy roll is hard with only 2 hands to keep it straight. With 2 people, it's great.

Surface turns to goo in the sun
I covered my roof with this before putting down shingles. it goes on very nicely and is easy to install but beware if it is sunny as the black surface (mineralized or not) turns to a soft tarry consistency that you cannot walk on without digging it up and it sticking to everything. It really does seal around nails though.

Was pretty challenging to to install in 95 degree weather...
Was pretty challenging to to install in 95 degree weather because the plastic was SO hard to peel off. It was so stuck that it was move the sheet out of place we tried removing the plastic. ..again it was 90+ degrees out so the conditions were not ideal

I saw good reviews. I had used something like....
I saw good reviews. I had used something like. it in the past with great results. This material is really thin and doesn’t not stick well so I have used a lot of nails to hold the material in place.

Hello, thank you for the feedback. You may want to consider, as mentioned in the installation instructions, back nailing in the 3" side lap during installation to ensure the product is stable underfoot before it heats up and seals to the roof deck. This is typically done especially on applications where multiple courses (or full deck application) is done. Thank you again for your feedback, we appreciate it.
