I haven’t installed it yet. I really wanted a modern oil rubbed bronze solar lamp post light but they are impossible to find. This one appears to be made quite well but the finish is not what I was looking for. It’s a gaudy golden brown with a speckled black/gray wash and a bit ornate.

The lights are high quality and provide a great amount of light. The instructions were not very detailed and installation took some trial and error but the finished product is outstanding. NOTE: The screws that come with the product are not masonry screws so those have to be purchased separately to install into a concrete pillar.

Exactly what I expected and easy to install. Compliments from my neighbors. Just need some sunshine to really charge these lights fully.

Was skeptial of a solar powered lighting fixture, but with over $1000 in trenching, conduit and labor facing me, I decided to try this alternative. Great decision as I was amazed at how bright these coach lamps are. Solar charges the batteries during the day and at dusk, they illuminate with the power of perhaps a 75 watt bulb and maintain their light output until dawn when they automatically turn off and begin the charging process. Very impressed with these lamps and would certainly buy again.

I have purchased 29 of these lights. 25 of them was from the previous generation and with those I am very pleased. Now these (4) have a different lighting system and I have not had them long enough to give a fair rating. However, in appearance they appear to be of the same quality. I am hoping that being that the lighting system does not match the previous 25 the change is a improvement in quality.

This lantern is beautiful and gives off a surprising bright light for a solar bulb. It's easy to install. Our whole home owner association loves it on the top of our monument sign. You won't be disappointed.

Purchased this item ant it looks great, puts out lots of solar light and stays all night.

Absolutely love it. Looks wonderful and classy. Puts off a lot of light. Strong and sturdy. Been working great for about a month and stays on all night. I do have the Arizona sun which might help.

So far solar light functions as advertised. Bulb will remain bright through out most of the night after sunny days. The light will dim earlier at night after cloudy days. The metal has remained rust free despite many rainy days in our area. I wouldn't submerge this, but seems to be holding up well under stormy weather and occasional wave splashes. No bugs, cocoons, rust or dirt inside lantern after several weeks outdoors. The solar LED bulb looks to be designed for this fixture but screws in and out and is replaceable. The rechargeable batteries are also suppose to be replaceable. I was unable to remove battery cover as the screws were soft and installed too tightly. I will try much harder when it comes time to change batteries, then replace with better hardware. Easy set up and installation. The metal lantern has some weight to it, and the panes appear to be glass. It is very pretty even during the day. Manufacturer's packaging includes lots of crumbly styrofoam. Box says made in China.

A couple years ago we built a pillar at the entrance of our drive and mounted a Gamasonic pillar lantern that had the small LED diode lights. That lamp faithfully lit our drive entrance without fail with good luminosity. It was a perfect solution for a lantern in a place we couldn't run an electric line for a traditional lamp. We had an opportunity to try the new generation lamp and WOW the light this thing gives off rivals a traditional lamp. The pillar style is really easy to install on a stone pillar with a little ingenuity. We cut a square piece of hardwood and painted all surfaces to seal from the weather. We then drilled holes matching the mount holes on the lantern and inserted screws up through the wood block and then using concrete adhesive stuck the wood to the top of the stone pillar. We set the lamp on the wood block aligning the upturned screws through the base mount holes and secured the nuts. Done. Couldn't be easier and the lamp looks fabulous. We like this new version featuring the LED bulb so much, we're thinking of building a second matching lantern pillar at the opposing corner of our property to help illuminate the sidewalk. The Gamasonic product is quality with high lumens output that beats the competition and solves the problem of having to run an electric line... We highly recommend.
