Concerned
It seems that the microwave is not heating as well as our old microwave. Not very satisfied with machine thinking it may not be working properly

A good basic microwave
We are happy with this microwave. It works well, and was a good replacement for the 20 year old over the range microwave it replaced. It was in-stock at the store. The fan is relatively loud on high speed, but also fairly effective. The only real criticism is that there is no key to the "reheat" or defrost settings on the microwave itself. Since these aren't intuitively obvious, I ended up taping the user manual page to the inside of a nearby cupboard door.

Great microwave
Install went well. Replaced an existing GE microwave which made the install easier. Microwave super easy to use and install/product instructions were easy to understand.

Expected failures to begin atleast 5-7 years in
Been less than 2 years and the digital display is already failing. The microwave itself is doing ok but if the digital display has begun falling for a product that was manufactured in Feb 2022, does install much confidence.

GE Works!
We bought this model because it was similar to the one that matched the rest of the kitchen appliances, and the old one was manufactured in 2001, so reliability was a priority. Pretty much every appliance we buy is GE.

Much easier to operate and many new features!
Our new microwave was a Christmas gift from our daughter. There was nothing wrong operational with the old one but the handle had broken off so it was a cosmetic issue only and was installed when the home was built in 1994. What a few years difference the new model provided us!

Perfect
We choose this microwave to be the best out of many because of all the features it has. It really good for the price, its easy to use buttons 1-6 you just press 1 and its 1 minute, 2 two minutes and so on until 6 only thats is convenient and fast you can also put any minutes you want. The best option for me it the turntable you can press it and it will turn on or off which is best for larger container that can not turn inside. Its pretty big fits big rectangle containers the surface light its bright its perfect. So far I have 1 month with this purchase and we are really happy.

Perfect Replacement
This GE microwave was a perfect replacement for the original Kenmore over the range microwave. The operation is very similar to the original which failed after 20+ years of use. The best part was that the GE microwave installed using the existing Kenmore wall mounting bracket and the cabinet holes in the top lined up exactly the same for the two mounting bolts. Installation was very easy.

Great look and great features
It looks beautiful and easy to use, the install is pretty easy, the only part that may frustrate you is lining up the template for the top cabinet...only because it's a little awkward. But if you're even a little handy you can get it done in a couple hours

Don’t buy this microwave it’s cheap!
Just got the microwave installed and it sounds like an airplane engine. It is so loud. You cannot run it without the vent motor running and it is very very loud. There is a huge hole on the top of the door that I believe a panel should be placed, but it is open and dirt and grime and whatever else is going to get into it, this is a very cheap microwave. I do not recommend it. I already paid to have it installed so I guess I’m gonna have to live with it. Don’t buy this microwave. The only good thing I can say is it does seem to heat up water.

The mounting has changed
I bought this microwave about 5 years ago. It just died. The reason for two stars is that I bought the exact same model and both the back and top mounts changed. I thought, being the exact same model, I could easily mount using the old back bracket. Well, GE's CEO needed another yacht, so they had to reduce the amount of materials by $1.23. The new back bracket is smaller and thinner, and the holes were nowhere close. The top bolts are in different places and had to be remeasured and redrilled

Broke on us just over two yrs.
I got a brand new microwave installed for our new stick build home and it has started to malfunction in the clock a few weeks ago and just stopped working all together while making my family dinner. Not impressed and saddened that my microwave didn't make ever 2 years.

Sleek, great working microwave hood!
Great microwave, very sleek and works great. We did the installation ourselves and that was a bit tricky so I recommend having someone hired to do it if you are not handy or get frustrated easily haha. The vent works great and I love the different features.
