I want to give this light two ratings. A ONE for installation and a FIVE for light output. You have to completely disassemble the assembly to install, then re-assemble with very tiny screws all while hanging upside down. Also, the knockouts for wiring are not in the center, which makes zero sense. Once it's all installed the light is a nice warm even glow with a nice beam pattern. Hope they dim well.

Love the LED lighting, puts off just enough light, and the bronze blends well under Oak cabinets. Simple installation (if familiar with lighting). Highly recommend

If you're planning to purchase this product please be sure to check the light spectrum shown on the back of the box under "lighting facts" and "Color Accuracy". I looked at the pictures and video in the product description PLUS some of the photos included in the reviews. They were exactly what I was looking for. To replace my under cabinet fluorescent lighting, and keep a light spectrum match, I needed the "white" light. With LED lighting it is referred to as "Daylight". The back of the box displayed a light spectrum on the edge of both "Warm White" and "Bright White" which is more of an incandescent bulb light spectrum BUT I figured the video and pictures would be more accurate. NOT the case. Please see my "real world" photo. Installing under cabinet lighting is as much a gymnast trade as electrical, especially when it's over a sink, behind a valence mounted on a floating panel. Youth is a wonderful tool to have for this as well. The connector itself requires 1-1/2" recess as the light is so trim that you don't have the space to mount it from the inside. The light is about 1/3rd the size of the one it's replacing, so for me there was an adjustment and a lil touch up. The rating was for the misleading light spectrum. The quality seemed excellent for its ability to hold tightly together. The value is rated a little low as I must adjust to the color and don't know how long it will perform..

Very tight area for connections. Best to use knock out somewhere other than switch side. But if you must cut each incoming lead about 1/2 inch shorter than next, use traditional wire nuts, and cut off excess wire in fixture. Works well with lutron c l wall dimmer with no flicker and very slight hum (way less than non- dimmable florescents it replaced)

Small size is a plus, but makes it difficult to get connections in the case and even more so on the switch side of unit. I found it is best to cut each wire about 1/2 inch shorter than the next and cut out excess hook-up wiring in the unit. Also use had to use smaller traditional wire nuts to make connections. Once installed they give great even light much like florescent cool white, but without the hum and flicker.

The GE 12 in. Premium LED direct wire under cabinet light is the perfect light. I installed three of these in a brand new kitchen and they are exactly what I wanted. I have them direct wired to a light switch on the wall but if I want, I can turn each light off manually at the light itself by using the rocker switch that's on top of each light. I have used other under cabinet lights in the past that advertise being the brightest but quite honestly, I don't like to be blinded, instead, I really do prefer these 12 in. Premium LED lights over the other brighter, more expensive ones. This 12 in. Premium LED light is hands down the all around perfect under cabinet light.

Fantastic LED lights. They have a great warm glow and dim perfectly. Have installed them in 2 homes. Installation is a breeze with the connectors. Just trim the wire and push into the clip. No need to use wire nuts. I have it paired with the Lutron Caseta dimmer and they are controlled and dimmed with the Amazon Echo. All work flawlessly.

I bought this about a week ago and finally had the final part to wire this all up together. I bought two of these at the time because they were going to be put underneath my metal cabinets I have in the garage. I glued some neodymium magnets to their base and attached it that way so I can easily remove them if need be. Then I got an extension cord repair cord to wire them to an outlet socket. Wired both lights together and to the extension cord and turned them on and had a good amount of light now at my workbench.

Easy for assembling. Good quality. We installed the light on the top of the bookcase and the room became very bright. We are very happy with this pruchace.

Finally got my electrician to install and I love it. Light is good color, dimmer switch works well. It is installed behind a valence.
