Buyer Beware
We got the refrigerator 3 days ago. Bought it from an appliance store and had it delivered and set up. It took over 24 hours to cool to food safe temperature. Temperatures crept above safe levels today. Today I bought groceries, came home to find the I cream in the freezer was melted. So not happy!!

Plexiglass shelves aren't strong enough.
The overall refrigerator/freezer is fine. It's a good size for the garage. However, this is a garage ready unit which I use mostly for beverages. The plexiglass shelves cannot handle the weight of beverage cans and bottles. My shelves were bowed after one day and I now have to keep the center of each shelf empty because they just can't carry any significant weight. Poor design. I've actually never had a refrigerator without glass shelves.

My favorite top freezer fridge!
I’ve had many brands and styles of refrigerators over the years and have worked in an appliance store selling them. GE has always been the leading name in quality and affordability. My family prefers the top freezer and there is plenty of room for all our frozen foods. Pizzas? No problem!! The 21.9cf is very spacious and well designed. After comparing other brands, this refrigerator is the best option for rental properties.

Very cool!
This refrigerator is a second frig in our sun porch. The porch is very hot in the summer and the new refrigerator is keeping our drinks very cold!

Looks ghetto
My 1st brand new refrigerater and it looks like it was a used hand me down. Theres 4 holes on both sides top and bottom doors and nothing to cover the ones you dont use. I couldnt use any howevet because the hardware to attatch handles on doors wasnt included. Very disapointing. Wish i would of bought a used one now and saved $1000.00

Door shelf cracked!
My shelf just cracked!
Only 2 weeks old.
Not a lot of weight on shelf.
Just opened door and shelf cracked off door and all items cracked on floor. Took photos. Lost some items that broke.

Disappointed With New Refrigeraton
We are very disappointed with the GE Refrigerator we recently purchased. This refrigerator replaced a 12 year old Whirlpool Refrigerator that started to run constantly and was getting louder every day. Unfortunately the GE refrigerator also runs constantly and is louder than the old refrigerator. Also, the handle on the freezer is loose and cannot be tightened. I am going to file a warranty claim in the next few weeks.

Great refrigerator
I just had to replace my refrigerator that was a GE and it was 35 years old so I went and bought another GE it's so big love the big compartments on the doors and the are enclosed so nothing falls out smooth front easy to clean so quiet hoping to have this one for another 30 years thanks for a great product

Very good fridge but no rear wheels
Received last week. Runs well. I was not present when the delivery team came. Wife was present and didn’t notice in the process of delivering the fridge, not adjusting the front wheels at all, they slid the fridge across new vinyl floor and tore the vinyl. Had to file a claim and go through this repair process. I’ve ordered 40+ app through HD and this is the first time this has happened. But what is really weird is I ordered a similar model last month and it had rear wheels, this unit did not!?

GE goodness
Lots of space in this top freezer and fridge! GE is know for is dependability, and this is my 1st GE fridge, so I am looking forward to years of cold food and beverage, and frozen items for years to come! Already enjoying this look and space this fridge has.

Great product; just one flaw.
Very good product. Switching the doors and installing the handles was easy. But trying to level the unit was difficult due to someone’s lack of care in manufacturing. The left leveling leg was installed crooked and cross-threaded. The holes in the two plates did not line up, but someone decided to force the leveling leg in anyway. It won’t even sit flat on the floor.

Very Roomy and Attractive
This refrigerator replaces an old garage side-by-side fridge that is used for overflow beverages and bulk packaged frozen meat. I appreciate the amount of space in the freezer compartment and that it is at eye height. The refrigerator space is brightly lit, the shelves are well designed and the door bins are roomy. Because it is sumer and the unit is in the garage, I've had to set the refrigerator control at the highest setting to keep the compartment within the appropriate temperature range. The freezer is set at 4 and keeps within the frozen zone on my thermometers very well.

Great buy and excellent product
So far I am very pleased with my purchase. Originally I was going with another brand but it was not available for about another 30 days. My GE was in stock and about $250 cheaper. Love the ice maker and general layout of the shelves.

Great features!
I have always loved the GE brand of appliances. The refrigerator is a dream come true, when my last one went out after 25 years of service. The storage in the refrigerator is awesome. I still have room to store more food in the fridge and freezer.
