Nice and light. Drawers are easy to see into. Great storage in the doors.

Screen glitched. Only dispenses crushed ice now
Plugging and unplugging does not fix it. Rubber door seal molded rather badly, though I was not around when it happened - I just remember the old fridge didn't seem to have that problem.
----
Parents had bought a set of GE appliances when they refreshed the house because GE used to be the best.
Now their GE fridge screen is totally unusable, their GE dishwasher leaves almost the dishes still somewhat dirty and vibrates loudly for the first 5 minutes. GE drier smells burny while the lint basket is empty - I've stopped using it for now.
No fault with the washer and oven yet, so that's 3 faulty appliances out of 5. Parents have already lost their brand loyalty, and now that I've seen first-hand it's clear why.

So far so great!
We have only had this appliance a few days but the space is fantastic and the ice and water machine in the door is fantastic as it doesn’t take up needed fridge space. And it’s quiet. I had read other reviews that said it was loud but that hasn’t been our experience.

Very noisy
It is a beautiful and spacious fridge but the freezer part is not that spacious if you mainly eat Frozen foods. Also it makes a loud humming noise that bothers me, specially because I got rid of my old fridge because it became super loud. I was expecting a quiet fridge since it is new.

It’s fine
All of our appliances are GE and always have loved the quality! I feel like this is just fine nothing special! The doors are not straight on the top and the water leaks and leaves spots! I really wanted to love it , we waited so long to get it and had quite the time with the process so we will keep

We just bought this a month ago but 4 years back had bought one as well when we remodeled the kitchen in our old house before we moved. Obviously we enjoyed it at the old house so we replaced all the white kitchen appliances with new GE in the slate color which is a great color. This unit has loads of storage which is so much better than the much smaller white frig it replaced as well as being a French door design which is far more convenient than the side by side white one. The only thing I can say about reliability is that the first one which is about 4 years old now ran perfectly until we sold the house early this year and the new one has been great so far. Highly recommended.

My six-month old refrigerator has been broken for TWO MONTHS!
We have this refrigerator in all three of our properties, but the one at our home was/is a lemon, and we can't seem to get GE's warranty repair group to have any sense of urgency to finish the repair.
Meanwhile, the food in my freezer is coated in thick coats of ice and frost. (I'm not confident the food is safe to eat.) The ice and water dispenser doesn't work and the french doors don't close well.
I love the features of the refrigerator

So the refrigerator part of this fridge is great and that's the part we use by far the most. The freezer is a problem. First, it is incredibly hard to open. When you pull the freezer handle, the whole fridge rolls forward. We started putting one hand on the fridge to hold it in place while we opened the freezer. Then the handle came off. This is not just happening a few seconds after the fridge doors are open and the unit is cooling again. This happens anytime we try to open the freezer. We have a repairman coming out to put the handle back on and hopefully fix the problem of the freezer door not opening.
On a lesser note, but still problematic, the plastic protective covering that you have to remove when you buy a new item doesn't come completely off. It's stuck in the cracks of the ice maker and in other sections, giving our nice new fridge a fairly trashy look.

Nice Refrig
Had this a week now. It is a pretty nice, good sized refrigerator. There are some notes about being noisy but we do not find that as an issue. In general its a lot quieter than our 10 year old refer we replaced. Yeah, it makes noise when the ice come crashing down but all refrigerators seem to do that. Not really an issue. There are a couple of things that could be improved. As others noted, the seals are as tight as tight can be. I am concerned pulling on the freezer drawer handle. It is that snug. Maybe the seal will loosen a bit with use. On the water hook up in the back: The angle needs to be increased a bit. The hose hits the frame work of the machine and you need to be careful you do not cross thread the fitting. A few degrees of outward tip would make it a lot easier to connect. And the blue plastic on the doors! Yikes, we literally took almost an hour to get all of it off. I bet there are lots of these refrigerators with bits of blue plastic stuck along the edges. I can't stand stuff like that so my wife and I got every last bit off. One more item. There ought to be a trough of some sort to catch the water and ice bits that come out of the dispenser. The flat surface thingie suggests no one thought about it. Really poor design element.
But over all, not a bad refrigerator for the price especially. Be aware of the size. The specs are right on the money I thought we would need to grease our 30" door opening but it made it with thousandths of an inch to spare. The rack that holds the freezer drawer had to be removed to get to the 30 inch (-) width though.
The pic shows our new refrigerator with a new Adora range and the Whirlpool low profile microwave over the stove. While the descriptions for the stainless surfaces are a bit different, you would really need to look closely to convince yourself the three were not the same. It all looks good together.

love my new fridge
I really love this refrigerator and freezer. The best thing is I can see everything in there. No more science projects hidden in the back and forgotten. The freezer is the same in that nothing can really get hidden from sight. If I could fine tune anything it would be to increase space on a shelf that would hold tall things like a 56 oz juice bottle or bottles of wine. The shelves are adjustable but it would mean a couple of really short shelves. The lighting is fabulous. The protective film the fridge is wrapped in is difficult/time consuming to remove. I actually haven't removed all of the little pieces stuck in the edges yet. Fingerprints are easy to wipe off with a soft cloth. All in all I am very happy with this beautiful refrigerator.

When the installers installed the refrigerator the scratched the entire length of the left side of the refrigerator and since this is a counter depth unit I did not catch this until I moved the unit to sweep out from under it. You only have 48 hours to completely inspect the appliance and since my time was up the gist of the conversation was that Home Depot was no longer responsible call the manufacturer. I was on hold with GE for 45 minutes before I gave up. If I was looking for a crappy experience in appliance buying this was definitely it, unfortunately that was not my goal.

I recently started using this refrigerator on 6/4/20, and so far it's good (today's date is 6/14/20). I like the space inside of this refrigerator, especially the top area. This refrigerator looks great on the outside, as well. Additionally, the size of it fits perfectly in my kitchen area.

Lots of Room
This frig is perfect for us as there are two families living here. Not only is there lots of room in this counter depth frig, but the lunch meat drawer and bottom of the freezer have movable dividers so each family can keep their groceries separate. Our old frig didn't have these, and sometimes our food got mixed up together. The movable shelves in the frig also help us configure the arrangement of food for optimum room. Only negative is that the frig airflow comes from the top shelf so we try not to overload the shelf. When we do, it sounds like the frig works overtime to keep things cold. Also, there's no covered butter shelf.

Great Fridge
Replaced an 8 year old Samsung 4 door 28 cubic ft fridge that needed to go a while ago. First you should get this over the profile model since I think the main differences are the profile has: a butter container in door, 1 fold away shelf and water auto fill. This one goes on sale at a much lower price than the profile and you can add the shelf and door butter container for about $160 if you really want them and still be way below the cost of the profile model. I have the black slate which I love. hides fingerprints great and looks very nice. I have the stove and Microwave as well (did the dishwasher the year before from Kitchen aid in stainless and am living with it). I also added the second ice maker in the freezer because you can never have too much ice. It is a $115 odd on and the delivery people installed it for $25. Well worth it. The main thing you miss with the 4 door is the larger tray area compared to the three, but you get taller doors and are able to put taller items in 3 rows. That is also why i decided not to get the butter container that the profile has. I may get the foldaway shelf but haven't decided yet. If you feel like splurging i feel the Cafe is the best fridge out there along with the 29 cubic ft LG, but the sale price HD had made this an easy choice. I am not partial to GE or any Brand really: LG washer and dryer, Samsung and Panasonic TVs and Kitchen Aid Dishwasher. I do feel some brands do better at certain things and I take that into consideration when buying. Hope htis helps someone a little in their decision process.

This is a great refrigerator. It's spacious, well laid out and the lighting is spectacular! As far as looks, it's very stylish and imposing - and when they say no fingerprints, they mean it.
I have had it now for a few months, and so far I could not be more pleased. As a matter of fact, I'd say so far it's nearly perfect. The only slight complaint Ok had was in the difficulty of removing the protective film completely, which was a hassle thanks to GEs choice to install it beneath all of the trim.
