Beautiful new refrigerator with ice maker. A refrigerator is my most used appliance. If it isn’t keeping my food cold it is cooling my beverages and the new finish dresses up my kitchen.

This was the perfect refrigerator for the features and size I needed.

We updated our side by side and now have less freezer storage. In all fairness we live in a townhome with limited space but thought our newer fridge would be more spacious but now smaller

Water and ice dispenser is great features on this tiny fridge, it’s constantly working even when fridge door opens. Water filter accessible inside the frige and pretty spacious. The only problem is the loud and noisy compressor which is strange comparing to my previous asian brand that dies on me in 3 years so I dont mind the noise as long as it keeps freezing stuff on hot summer days.

The very first plus was the location of the water filter Inside at the top back. Larger drawers for meat & veggies. The spacing in-between the shelves is great and deeper. Ice maker was operating in 4 hours. Highly recommended for baby boomers because other water filters were located on the bottom.

The frig fits so nicely into a very specific space. The look of side-by-side is perfect . . exactly what I desired, inside construction is adequate and love the feature of a bigger frig side and smaller freezer side. I would definitely purchase again!

Size, quality and price were reasons for selecting this model.

Well had the fridge shy of two years and guess what ... It completely died...... Seriously y'all are terrible unless the outfit that sold it to me sold under new but probably was refurbished at brand new price!!!!

This refrigerator fits perfectly in a 33" wide cabinet opening, which is what we wanted. We remodeled our kitchen a few years ago and we didn't want to have to redo the cabinets to fit a bigger refrigerator. I also loved the color of this one and that was another reason for wanting this fridge. I didn't want stainless steel (due to cleaning) and I didn't want a black or a white colored fridge. Overall, I am very happy with this refrigerator. The size is perfect, it is a little taller than our previous one which gives it more room/storage space overall. I like the LED lighting. After looking around, this fridge still has a bigger ice maker. I know a lot of the newer refrigerators have smaller ice cube maker/storage. This one is definitely smaller than our other one (by about 1/2 the size), but it is still bigger than most of the newer refrigerators I have looked at. I highly recommend this fridge, in the "Fingerprint Resistant Slate" color. It cleans up nice and I just use a disinfectant wipe to clean it. Most of our other appliances are stainless steel and even though this is a different color it still looks nice with the other appliances. Granted, we don't have any of the appliances side-by-side so not sure how that would look. But, this color refrigerator looks great with linen colored cabinets.

Very happy and love this refrigerator but...it seems to be missing a shelf for the freezer. It's a design issue of the places to put shelves see photo. The manufacturer sent what is promised but I will need to purchase an extra shelf. Love the ice maker and water feature

We were limited to a 33 inch width fridge for our space and I was determined to finally have water and ice in the door. French door models were all too deep. This one fit perfect! Comes out just enough that the freezer door fully opens and doesn’t crunch the door jamb to the laundry room. I ordered an extra shelf for the fridge ahead of time and had it waiting for when this was finally delivered. Only one delay but worth the wait!

I just got this fridge today and so far I love it. The freezer is a bit small, but that’s because of my limited space. I was able to get everything from my old freezer in there with a little room to spare. I have the slate finish and it is really sharp.

Love this fridge! The space is amazing! LED lights built into fridge is one of my favorite feature! It cools off quicker than most as well which is amazing

WE'VE HAD OUR REFRIGERATOR FOR ABOUT A MONTH. WE HAVE A SMALLER SPACE THAN THE NEWER HOMES FOR A REFRIGERATOR AND WE WERE STILL ABLE TO GET A STAINLESS STEEL FINGER PRINT RESISTANT REFRIGERATOR. WITH A WATER AND ICE DISPENSER. IN ADDITION TO TH E CUBED ICE, WE ALSO GET CRUSHED ICE. WE LOVE THE FACT THAT A LIGHT COMES ON WHEN WE USE THIS FEATURE. IN THE REFRIGERATOR, THERE ARE FOUR GLASS SHELVES THAT ARE ADJUSTABLE AND THERE ARE TWO DRAWERS. THE TOP DRAWER, WHICH IS MUCH LARGER THAN THE SECOND DRAWER. WE USE FOR STORING BREAD, CHEESE, ETC. WE USE THE SECOND DRAWER FOR VEGETABLES, AND IT IS SHALLOWER BECAUSE OF HOW THE BACK OF THE REFRIGERATOR SLOPES DOWN. THERE ARE FOUR SHELVES ON THE DOOR THAT ARE ALSO ADJUSTABLE.WITH AN ADDITIONAL AREA FOR STORING EGGS. THE LIGHTING INSIDE THE REFRIGERATOR IS NICE AND BRIGHT. THE FREEZER HAS FOUR SHELVES AND THREE AREAS ON THE DOOR FOR STORING ITEMS. THE SLOPE IS ALSO PRESENT ON THE BOTTOM SHELF IN THE FREEZER LIKE IT IS IN THE REFRIGERATOR. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS REFRIGERATOR. THE APPEARANCE OF THE REFRIGERATOR IS GREAT AND THE LIGHTED WATER AND ICE DISPENSER IS A PLUS. THE OVERALL FUNCTIONALITY OF THIS REFRIGERATOR IS MORE THAN WE COULD HAVE ASKED FOR. WE WERE FORTUNATE TO FIND THIS REFRIGERATOR THAT FIT IN OUR SMALL SPACE WITH ALL THE FEATURES WE WERE LOOKING FOR.

I have not had the fridge very long, but already love the way it keeps great cold temps and is super quite. I was actually wondering several times if it was really on, turning down the TV, stereo etc to “listen” for it - and yes it was on and holding cold temps. The only issue is the touch pad does not light up for some unknown reason, so I don’t see the digital displays and water won’t dispense. I’m sure it’s a minor fix but it was the only negative experience

Good product, especially for small space and 1-2 people. Freezer is especially small. The door compartments can literally hold only ONE item.

Wasn't sure what to expect from this refrigerator since I have never bought one due to always living in rentals But This refrigerator meets and exceeds all standards! I love the water and Ice feature and is amazing in every way!

Fits awesome in my small scape . I have a lot more room to fit my stuff. Looked at lots of refrigerators but this one was perfect high and width. Very quiet.

I had a heck of a time finding just the right refrigerator for the place we needed. The house was built 30 years ago and the spot for the fridge couldn't be altered. It is perfect!

The size is perfect for our smaller space and I love the shape of the front. It’s got a slight curve and I think it looks better than the flat doors. Easy to use controls on the door.

Due to the fact that we consider General Electric such a long-time excellent name brand, we decided to get our second GE fridge. The exterior stainless steel finish appears easier to clean and stay “fingerprintless” than other brand names, the Open Door Alarm is a useful feature, so far, the ice maker seems to be working well (although it DID push the freezer door open at one point [??]), and once we figured out the digital temperature controls, the interiors appear to be responding accordingly. One very important benefit is its size. So many of the new refrigerators are HUGE, and would not fit into mid-century homes. We’re hoping this purchase proves a wise investment by continuing to serve our needs efficiently.

We ordered and arranged delivery online. It was very easy. It fits perfectly in the space. There is so much more room than we had before. We shop 2 weeks at a time and have a grown daughter at home.

I love the shelves in this refrigerator. There is much more room for bigger items to fit. The stainless steel is also very elegant looking.

It's overall good. Ice dispenser sputters ice all over the freezer despite what looks like a last minute make shift plastic installation to guide ice flow into the freezer door opening.

GE is the only refrigerator I’ve seen lately that have plastic framed shelves. All the others I considered had just glass shelves. I’m not sure how sturdy this would be. Some only had back support. Nothing holds the shelves on the sided.

Disappointed in quality of this product. I expected more from GE

I purchase my refrigerator 2 years ago. I noticed for the last several of month that the water quality (using GE water filter/ tasted kind of moldy. Then about 3 weeks ago I notes black flakes in the water and even though my filter was only 3 months old. I replaced it with a new GE water filter. The problem continues. I do have an extended warranty with Home Depot and they will send someone out to address the issue, I will not trust the water anymore even if the replace any parts. My cat and I both been having stomach issues, now I know why. This is a real concern and unhealthy. I am going to purchase a Brita system and I have been buying bottle water. I was told I will not be reimbursed for my extra expense. If I knew that I would have this issue would not have purchase this unit. I had a Frigidaire of 17 years without an issue. When it comes to the health of my family I don't play. I am very unhappy and wish I could trade in the unit for one without a water/ice dispenser. How can I ever trust the health and safety of my family with this GE refrigerator?

My wife and I searched extensively for a 33-inch-wide side-by-side refrigerator that would be compatible with our kitchen layout constraints, and we decided to purchase the GE stainless steel GSS23GSKSS model. The initial delivery was problematic, because the new refrigerator had flaws, including defective evaporator and and condenser fans. However, GE customer support readily agreed to shipping a replacement that was delivered several weeks later (because of on-going supply chain issues). The replacement refrigerator is presently working in a flawless manner, and it is everything we hoped it would be. The operation of the unit is quiet, even when undergoing stabilization or changes to the freezer and refrigerator set temperatures. The water dispenser and icemaker are working well, and the front panel set temperature, filter status, water/ice dispenser, and lighting functions are very intuitive and convenient. The adjustment screws near the bottom front section of the refrigerator make it very easy to level the unit and to align the side-by-side doors. Another reason we purchased this model was the storage capacity of the fresh food section, which is very similar to a standard 36-inch model. The freezer section capacity is small, but we were aware of this prior to purchasing this model and have adjusted our frozen food requirements accordingly. The lighting and shelving in both sections are excellent, and there is ample room in the refrigerator section to store gallon-size milk containers on the shelves or in the door compartments. Overall, a good choice for our small-family needs.
