Does not come with required fuses

This unit does not work without buying fuses. I had to return to buy 2 I bought 4 so that I had extra, but I think it should have come with two only because of the proper size. Paperwork does not say what size to get. 5 stars if it came with fuses.

The disconnect box worked great. Just what was needed.

Fused Disconnect from GE is a great design. Fuse holder is part of the disconnecting male contacts and held near the top of the 3R enclosure. All the incoming wire connections are made midway up in the enclosure.

The fuse holder on one end of each fuse was loose on my 30 Amp disconnect box, and I didn't even notice this when installing the first fuse. The second fuse was so loose that I couldn't miss the fact. That inspired me to remove the first fuse and gently insert one end into the center of both holder clamps. One end of that was also loose. It's easy to bend the short contact upward to make it tight, but if you didn't notice this, it could be a fire hazard, so I'm giving it the minimum stars.

NO instructions and the only way I found out it needed fuses is when my AC unit would not come on. 🤬Was pretty upset to say the least after all the work to install to be shamed by this company 🤬

Need a fuse to work. Should say on box need fuse.

Box label said fused but no fuses in the box.

The disconnect box is good and works as expected. The only thing I would improve is making the plastic parts a little more heavy duty. The unexpected disappointment was that for 30 amp disconnect there was no fuses in the box which meant a return trip to Home Depot.
