Easy to install, works great over the new stove. The stainless steel frame looks great in the kitchen. Low noise when the fan is running. The LED lights are very bright, lights up the top side of the stove. To me it appears to be a great product. Works just fine for my family.

In the high mode more noice is coming . It would be better if the noice can be reduced

Terrible. Depend on products to show up serviceable ours showed up damaged. The fact that you all give such a short window to check/replace it is pathetic.

We bought this to replace an older range hood and compliment our new GE oven. We really like the appearance, the push-button controls and the lights. Set up and installation took about an hour. The convertable unit will accommodate round or rectangular ventilation ducting through the top or rectangular ventilation ducting through the back. At low and medium speeds the fan noise is quieter than our old unit. The high and boost speeds produce noticeable noise but the operation sounds smooth. Dual grease screens are a plus!

It’s a good fan. Wish the lights were LED though, what up with that, Fred Flinstone engineer it? The back side is ugly because there’s no trim panels if is it mounted as an over cook top surface .

It was a fairly easy install to replace an outdated, loud range hood from the 70s with this sleek, stainless steel range hood that matches much better with the other appliances in our kitchen. The fan is fairly quiet on low and med although it does get loud with the high setting. Two brightness settings for the lights. Everything seems to be working just fine two months into installation. Recommended.

Good looking unit. Unable to rate performance yet as it arrived damaged and will require another two weeks for replacement parts to arrive. A poor end-user experience thus far.

Stylish, easy to use. The stainless steel model looks great. You’ll need stainless steel wipes to wipe off finger smudges. You avoid smudges by just using the buttons.

Didnt receive the control and the hood isnt working. If turned on on low it wont spin, med it burly spins and high it spins with a clicking sounds and doesnt really suck anything out.

Our old house is getting a face lift!! This hood was a perfect fix for above our new stove! It waseSy to install (2 people) . Simple yet efficient. We’re very happy!!

We've had this product for over a year and although the range works properly, we've had problems with the installation of the 2 little halogen lights. These are not your typical screw in lights. Each light has 2 "pins" that fit into sockets. It's easy enough to get them into the socket, but then you have to turn them slightly so they sit in a narrower part of the socket. It takes some effort to do and it's hard to know if you got it tight enough or not. I feel like I'm going to break the lights or socket when installing. I've had two instances in the last year in which I've suddenly had a light drop into a big pot of food. I've felt like I had to dump the food in both instances because glass from the light has chipped off into my food! What a waste.

Make sure that the space you are installing this unit in has about 1/4- 1/2" clearence on each side otherwise it will be a tight fit. Noise level 5 out of 10 Lighting 10/10 My only concern is the quality of the grease filter. I purchased and installed this until late Nov early Dec and I took the filters out yesterday (Apr7th) and one of the tabs that holds the filter in place broke off when I was trying to reinstall it.

I bought this to replace a more than 30 year old grimy vent hood for the kitchen I am remodeling. (The old one worked it just was old and dirty). I bought GE because my gas stove top is GE and I trust GE completely. I absolutely love the design, the features and the looks of it. It works great and fit right in the spot with little changes. The price was just right for this good quality fumehood.

Replaced original GE Hood. Mounting holes did not match original so had to redo. There was no cord to attach to power. Was not listed as needed materials.

The medium to high levels are very loud, also it does not vent very well, causing smoke alarms to sound off. The steam is causing dripping from vent screens

Only had it 3 days, already love it. It is beautiful stainless steel.

Product is okay. My light went out and I cannot get the bulb out to replace it. It sucks! I have to call appliance repair to replace a light bulb!
