Awesome
Was bummed we moved into our new home and the oven didnt work. The only option we had was this drop in from GE. The price was a on the high side but it works great. Heats up fast.

Nice product

Love this range. It was pricey but I had no choice, I’m enjoying the temps compared to my old range. I would recommend to those who have drop in ranges.

What I was really disappointed in was that they wouldn’t...
What I was really disappointed in was that they wouldn’t install the stove when it said it would be installed and all they did is unload it and leave!

Oven heats up quickly!
This is a great oven and stove. We're glad GE still makes drop ins or we'd have to redo our entire kitchen. The oven heats up so fast, preheat is less than 5 minutes. Fantastic!

Good Range
The GE range is replacing a Kenmore range which was more than 20 years old. The rapid heat burner does come up hot very quickly as it was advertised which is good. Everything works as it should. The smooth top will scratch rather easy so as other reviews have mentioned be careful.

Hard to clean, surface has pattern that scratches
I’ve had this range for 3 weeks and I hate it with a passion. I had a 20 year old GE range (also glass cooktop) prior to this one which was actually much better in every way: high quality- the old cooktop was much thicker and more durable than this one. I’ve had glass cooktops for decades now and I know how to clean and maintain them. But when you put a little white dot raised pattern all over the cooktop surface which literally grips & holds every single crumb grease stain, burn, etc. you make it almost impossible to clean without marring it. It also scratches super easy and my cooktop is already marred just using creamy Weimans cleaner. I wish I could get rid of this thing as I hate it The 2 good things are: 1) it does boil water quickly which is nice and 2) the knobs are solid metal (not cheap plastic like prior models) but those are the only two benefits to this piece of junk. I want to return this so bad.

Perfect replacement range
The range was similar to our broken range oven and similar to the design. The instruction sheet for use was somewhat confusing but with some trial and error we easily figured it out.

New upgraded stove.
The stove is wonderful...takes some time to adjust to how it heats (different temps) but it's great. Only thing better would be if the control dials and panel area were ceramic or metal like the rest of it instead of plastic.

Great Stove For a Drop In
We needed a drop in range for the layout of our kitchen. This stove works very well, but because I have to be careful to not scratch the stovetop, I can’t use my cast iron skillets.

Works great!
Because of the size (or lack of size) of my kitchen this is the only range I could buy - a 30" drop in (a drop in does NOT touch the floor). And this size makes it difficult to find - and it's quite a bit more expensive than larger ranges because (I guess) that not many are made - most kitchens aren't the postage stamp size like mine is. It's an update of the old GE range I had. The top can be difficult to keep clean but the burners power up quickly. It's only been a couple of weeks - haven't used the oven yet - that's next!

Pleased Buyer
We are very pleased with the way this oven quickly reaches the target temperatures on the cooktop and in the oven. In addition, it fits well in the drop-in space where our 30+ old oven once sat. It looks great and has performed well.

Great looking, computerized, seems to work well.
Very difficult to find during pandemic and a bit on the pricey side compared to prior to the pandemic. Was told it may take up to a year to get since not many manufacturers making any more. Range face surface is vulnerable to scratching; may need to purchase new cookware.

This cooktop is made of a glass ceramic material that is designed to be scratch resistant, though it’s not fully scratch proof. To keep the cooktop in excellent condition, we recommend not using cookware with a rough bottom surface and not sliding the cookware across the cooktop surface. Nice replacement drop in range
I needed a replacement drop in range for a 24 year old Kenmore drop in that was installed by the builder when I built my house. This was the only option as GE is the only manufacturer and these ranges are hard to find. The drawback is that Home Depot does not offer installation and it was a major undertaking to find an installer. But it’s a beautiful range and I’m well satisfied.

The Perfect Upgrade
This cook top oven combo replaced an older similar appliance. The dimensions were very close and the installation was easy as to form and fit. As to function, this appliance is easy to use with many features, one of which is the 'melt' setting on one of the burners. Programming the cook times and was well laid out in the user manual and easy to follow. Brief, very inclusive and simple.

Front right burner doesn’t work
Great GE product as always. Service company for warranty has a lot to learn. Called 3 weeks in a row and no call back to schedule warranty item.
