Terrible experience the washer we purchased is off-white won’t even run a cycle without stopping

This is just about the worse washing machine I have ever owned. I have had it a little more than a year now and already looking for a replacement. I don't care if you put 2 things in or 20, you will have to put it back in place EVERY SINGLE LOAD. I don't care if you put in 2 things or 20, you will have to manually rebalance the load EVERY SINGLE LOAD. My workout has now become manipulating this machine back to its rightful place every time I do a load of laundry. There are only 2 of us in our house and this is a horrible machine. I am sorry I ever bought it

We have had so many problems with our washer! It doesn’t rinse the clothes! All of my light colored clothes come out with black spots all over them! I read online that it’s the gear oil ruining my clothes! It doesn’t use enough water to clean a penny! Very poor purchase!

I love my washer! It seems to be a great product. Very satisfied.

Wish it had a softener dispenser like the soap dispenser. Unbalanced loads aren’t handled well.

Washer was working and app worked for a few days. Then it stopped and with no way to manually reset then there’s no way to fix. Called support and they didn’t know what to do either and never followed up on sending someone over.

This washing machine has great basket capacity, fits my king size comforter. The detergent tank is very convenient and efficient. I only wish it could have a fabric conditioner automatic tank as well.

We had a front loader before this that I absolutely hated. I am not sure all the hype on the front loaders. This can fit much more laundry and gets my clothes so clean! The cycles are much faster and I love that I can get notifications on my phone and Fitbit that tell me when the laundry is done! I will recommend this washer to everyone I know! Next is to upgrade my dryer!

The high efficiency took some getting used to. The water level seemed weird. But I love it! My clothes are clean and they smell great. I love all of the options

We’ve had this washer for about a year now, and it is amazing. When I was searching for washers, this one was one of the few that had great ratings on everything. There is a laundry detergent dispenser built into the washer, so once you fill it up you don’t need to do it during every load. The settings are easy to use and change. GE is a brand I will trust with all my appliances. The quality of their work has been constant for years. If you are looking a washer that will clean all your clothed and blanket, this is the one for you.

The washer has a deep fill basin and can accommodate larger items like comforters, jeans or towels. The detergent auto-fill and presets for load type are also a nice perk. I like having the clear lid to check the water fill levels.

Since we've had this washer for over a month now, I wanted to post a review: It would be impossible to overstate how much I love this. If you're looking for a machine similar to the old styles that actually worked, this is the one for you. It covers your clothes with water (I use the bulky items cycle), it agitates and impels your laundry so that stuff moves around, and it accommodates comforters. It is tall, so not sure how it would be for shorter people reaching in. If anyone from GE reads this, THANK YOU for hearing us and creating something that is worth buying!

The washing machine that this is replacing was 22 years old. I told my husband that I now have the Cadillac of washing machines. Absolutely love it.

Works great. Have to use deep rinse to get all the soap out. Have it on my Alexa and it notifies me when washing is done. Works with dryer too.

I love all the different settings and the fact that you can delay a wash cycle and turn it on from your phone. It cleans our clothes great and not as long as I thought it would take an HE washer

Haven’t had the washer long but it seems to be exactly what we were looking for and what we need.

I DO NOT LIKE THIS MACHINE AT ALL. You have to have 5 foot long arms in order to reach the bottom of the basket in order to retrieve your clothes. It took me longer to get the clothes out of the machine than it did to get them washed. I had to use a grabber (which ended up breaking) and then used a broom handle to get my clothes out. It didn't help to get the clothes out as the basket kept moving around in circles every time I thought I had gotten ahold of a piece of clothing. Even standing on a cement block did not give me sufficient room to get my arm all the way down into the basket. I have had the machine for a month; have done 4 loads of laundry from bulky to delicates. This is my first GE product; I will not buy another one again; it is a bit noisy throughout certain portions of the washing cycles. There's too many buttons to press in order to get the washer to start AND the lid has to be down in order for it to start filling up with water - bring back my old machine - one button for small, medium or large load, one button to start the washing cycle and one button for cold, warm or hot water.

Mud and cornstarch are still visible on clothing after a full wash!

Seems like a good product so far, just installed it today so I guess time will tell.

This machine is great! Purchased an impellor maytag that would not fill with enough water to wash a small load of laundry let alone a normal one. My GE is great! The only downside, the reason for 4 stars and not 5, is having to use the deep fill and bulky items option all the time but we have learned how to program the machine to get a full tub of water which is a bit time consuming but well worth it. Government really needs to give us the options of water levels back. My mom prefers the low water setting because her water costs are higher but I have severe allergies and need my clothes clean and rinsed thoroughly or I will break out in a rash. With the right combination I always get a good clean with this machine. I looked at many washers over a 3 month period and this seems to be the best for the price. My other option was a smaller machine for $1200.... glad I didn't have to go that route. This GE has several settings and the deep rinse is great. It has the option of auto detergent dispensing but I just put in what I need at the beginning, my allergies rule my laundry life, lol. My clothes come out smelling great and clean. Every now and then we have some come out with wrinkles but I just shake it out and my dryer takes care of the rest. Purchased on black Friday 2019 and I only hope this washer lasts as long as my old washer did... over 25 years with my Amana. How much the laundry world has changed!
