Works great. Unfortunately, it is keeping the basement at 60% humidity, as opposed to actually lowering it. They don't sell a bigger one with a pump, so I'm going to have to buy another one. :/

Dead after 4 months and NO RESPONSE FROM GE SERVICE
I purchased this dehumidifier in April 2020, and have it in a finished basement with moderate humidity. Depending on the humidity/weather, I've had to empty the bucket once every 1-3 days, with the humidistat at 60%. It worked fine up until two weeks ago when it stopped working. No lights, no sound, no fan, and with no warning. I was glad to have paid an extra $45 for the Home Depot extended warranty for 2 years, but after reading the fine print, I found that it only applies after the one year manufacturers warranty runs out. I looked over the documentation, and found a link, went to it, dug around intensively to find the well hidden phone number (well hidden intentionally, I assume, and you cannot file a claim online). I called the warranty claim phone number, followed the phone prompts and waited in the queue. after 68 minutes on hold, I gave up and selected the option to leave a message to be called back the next day. I let 7 more days go by but nobody called. I called again and stayed on hold for 40 minutes, gave up and left another message.. Yesterday I called again and stayed on hold for 25 minutes and hung up. Today I'm bringing the unit to Home Depot and insisting that they give my money back, and I'll be sure to never buy a GE product again. Its not surprising the company is bleeding money and on the verge of collapse, with that kind of horrible products and zero service.

So far so good. It was easy to set it up to automatically drain into the washing machine discharge. The basement is noticeably drier and more comfortable. One less thing to think about.

Exceptional
This is the second GE unit I’ve bought for a different area. This larger unit has the built-in pump which automatically empties the collection tank. I have the hose running into my drain system. This feature only requires me to do a periodically system check for the filter. My other smaller GE unit has worked flawlessly for the past three years.

Very easy set and easy to use. Has a pump included to empty out the tray so you do not have to keep checking it to see if it is full. When the tray is full the pump turns on and empties the water.

Great features quiet operation.
This unit is great so far. Love the quietness of the unit. Love the ability to set humidity level and the unit shuts off once it attains that level. A garden hose can be hooked up directly to drain and not have to empty the reservoir. There is even a pump option if you need to pump the captured water into another location. There are three speeds for the fan as well. Compared to the last unit I had this is far nicer.

Dampness gone!
My husband purchased this model to use in his cabin as it had gotten a damp musty smell. It has worked wonders and is relatively quiet. I bought it for my Moms lower level. She loves it after one day.
