Love, love, love!! Great size, easy to use, and great features!

GE, has Not taken the time to make sure that there is an Owners Manual in the box, to explain how to use this Microwave. Also, Inside this Microwave, on the Right Side Wall, is a square cardboard plate with a screw. We were trying to figure out if to remove the screw and take off the square cardboard piece, because we thought it may be blocking a vent and needed to be removed. There was No Mention of this in the installation instructions about the little square plate in the inside of the Microwave. The reason that we thought to remove it, was because it felt as if it was a piece of cardboard Covering A Vent. I feel that GE should Explain this in the installation manual with a picture of it, an say: Do Not Remove.

The glass turn table cracked and broke while I was making pizza rolls. Where do I find a replacement for model DVM7195FL2DS serial TM2372188

GE used cheap plastic to manufacture this microwave. Unit still works but cosmetically looks awful.

Product 5 stars, installation 3. Instructions were not very clear. While installing bracket on drywall, toggle screw broke behind drywall, needed to add drywall anchors. Visable scratches on side, which may have occurred in transit. Not sure where the exhaust pan is supposed to go. Overall, works and sounds great, I like having a mute button.

This was a perfectly fine microwave oven -- until it wasn't. It was installed March 4, 2019. Last week, one year and 20 days later, it went kablooie. While not in use, the oven started flashing lights and sounding an alarm. When I went into the kitchen to investigate, I immediately smelled the distinctive odor of burning plastic/wiring. (The photo attached here is a still from a video I shot.) The one saving grace here is that this occurred while someone was home. Otherwise, would the house have caught fire? After googling the symptoms, I determined that the likely culprit was a bad magnetron, the heart of the beast that produces the microwaves. Even though the oven has just a one-year warranty, the magnetron is covered for 10 years. But here's the catch: GE covers the part, but the consumer has to pay for the service call and labor, which can cost about $250. GE, IF YOU'RE LISTENING: THAT'S NOT MUCH OF A WARRANTY. The sad ending to this sad story is this: Because of the existing space where the oven is installed, including where the backsplash is cut away, we are stuck with repurchasing the exact same unit. But this time, we are getting the five-year extended warranty that includes labor. Aaaaaarrrrrgggghhh!!!

This microwave is much lighter than the last microwave I purchased 15 years ago that still works well (it was a Maytag). I needed a stainless steel look to go with my new double over (GE) that I recently installed. The new GE microwave has been used several times to reheat food and drinks and works as expected. I like the darker interior in this microwave compared to the previous white interior of the other microwave. What could be improved? 1) If you plan on using the front fan vent of the microwave you have to open access to the vent motor located on the top rear of the microwave. You must remove the fan motor, turn the fan motor 90 degrees and reinstall the fan motor for the front fan vent to work. You would think this would be the default when shipped but it is not (found out after installing). Not a huge deal to remove the microwave, lower it to the top of the stove where I could gain access to the vent fan motor, rotate the motor 90 degrees, reinstall and then remount the microwave (you will find directions with the installation guide). This corrected the problem and now the fan vent blows out the front of the microwave. 2) The exterior light on the bottom is NOT LED so it gets hots if you leave the light on for more than a few minutes. I am hoping to replace the bulb installed by the manufacturer with an LED bulb. There is absolutely no reason the GE microwave should not ship with exterior LED bulb. 3) Compared to my older Maytag microwave, the door on the GE microwave is very light and does not feel strong like the older microwave. The door works as expected but the lighter door simply does not feel as strong as my older Microwave. Only time will tell if the door on the new GE microwave will last. Overall, the GE Adora Microwave looks great and works as advertised.

Overall not a bad microwave just wish it had an timer for the surface light to come on at a specific time like my old model

how quiet it is! This is the most quiet if any brand I previously owned and I especially appreciate how accurate it’s timing is for thawing meats without cooking and drying the meat out the way my other microwaves did. The display is simple and easy to read. The operation is nearly silent. I love my Adora!

After a simple Installation, this microwave has worked wonderfully. Read something about mediocre defrosting, but that has not been our experience. For the money, this was everything we hoped it would be.

I really like the stylish look of the GE microwave!! It has all the features and just looks good!!

Great features, looks, size & wattage - highly recommend! It will very much complement the appearance of the stainless steel gas range that I also purchased (JGBS66REKSS).

The workmanship is terrible. The door is crooked. The unit was not heating food so had to have a service call after a few months.

Great Product, Terrific Price

Took much longer to install than I anticipated. Works great. I was scared because my family never had an over the range microwave before, but it is secure. I save a lot of cook time and cleaning by adding a microwave into my kitchen. I hadn't had one in some years due to lack of space and money. I haven't figured out the steam feature. Wasn't covered in instructions. I wish the installation instructions were more clear.

This Microwave is the best.. Not only is is good looking it is a fast high powered Machine.. It is easy to use and gets everything done with ease.. It is quite, fast, and reliable.. Happy with my choice....

Originally purchased a less expensive GE but was not satisfied with the appearance and quality. Quite loud and the stainless steel finish was a fingerprint magnet. Returned it for the Adora and we are thrilled. Very quiet by comparison and extremely attractive. Love the interior finish and fingerprint resistant exterior. We went with the Slate in spite of all other kitchen appliances being SS. Do not regret it. Strongly suggest spending a little extra. You won't regret it.

Terrible in quality. Would not recommend GE appliances...at all!

So far we are in love with our appliances. Easy to use and cooks things evenly.

I like everything about this microwave except the start button. It is hard to find. I like the recessed turn table and the color (slate). I also like the “add 30 seconds” feature.

We installed this unit in December/2018. The unit overheated in less than a week, causing it to stop heating food. The magnetron is scheduled to be replaced. I checked the venting for magnetron and noticed a folded piece of paper within the venting path. I attached photos. This should be checked before installing the unit.

Purchased it in November of 2017 it was DOA. Got a new one it is now November 2018. DEAD, 3 DAYS AFTER warranty expired!

I adore my adora for fabulous cooking, reheating and durable beauty. It features the black stainless steel finish and makes my kitchen look awesome.
