    We're still getting used to this but so far it is easy to clean. It heats as promised. I cannot figure out how to cook for just a few seconds. If you push 2, it will automatically cook for 2 minutes. I only wanted 20 seconds. So, if I want it to cook for less than a minute I have to stop it manually.

                Main panel went out after less than a year.
                Thankfully MW still under warranty ! Then lights under oven went out(no under warranty. Ordered lights and thankful we were able to install them ourselves. Old Kenmore MW lasted almost about 20years before quit working.

                  All sensor cooking stopped working less than 2 yrs
                  The sensor cooking stopped working after less than 2 years. Installed October 2019. No sensor cooking (for example, you cannot use it to cook potatoes or popcorn) will work by September 2021. The other cooking methods work okay. It will alert you to clean the filters about every other month with our daily use.

                        We installed in and it hasn't worked right from the very 1st day. :( The feature buttons don't work and it powers down because it gets too hot inside. GE is sending us a new one but how inconvenient this is. EVERYTHING is on back order these days. We waited 8 weeks for this one and now we have to wait again. UGH!

                              Failed to install product, no communication.
                              Ordered online with installation. No one contacted me about the install process. The technician that delivered it was the installer. Again no communication from Home Depot. The technician could not install the unit. Home Depot could not help finding an installer. Had to do it myself. Home Depot did credit me back the Installing charge and the delivery charge.

                                                This microwave worked for exactly 2 days until a loud rattle started behind the control panel. The next day, the rattle was gone and the unit would run quieter than the first 2 days, as if the internal fan (Not exhaust fan) stopped working. After 5 minutes of cooking at 100% power, the unit went dark. The light would not even come on after opening the door. I had to keep it unplugged for at least 5 or 10 minutes before it would come alive and run quietly (no fan) for another 5 minutes until it went dark. My 1 star review is solely based on the unit not working after 3 days. Below, I describe my attempts to resolve this issue. At this time, I believe the support, or lack thereof, deserves ZERO stars. I ordered the microwave from homedepot.com and not a store. Because of that and the fact it stopped working 48 hours after delivery, homedepot.com would not replace it or offer a refund. It is now in the hands of GE, which suggested I take it to my local store for a replacement. This is an online only item. My local store does not carry this unit. I wrote this review while being on hold with homedepot.com as they attempt to contact GE support. This is my 4th call regarding the microwave.

                                                  Installed this about 3 years ago when we remodeled a VERY dated kitchen (circa 1968, Kenmore electric cooktop and double electric oven in beautiful Harvest Gold). This oven rarely got used every day. Maybe a breakfast sandwich in the morning...no kids in the house, so, that should have tripled its life expectancy.... Nope. "Manu" Date of Sept 2017, no longer cooks.....everything else seems to work (ie lights, vent fan, carousel....)
