It sensed motion in about 10 degrees only. Returned for a refund.

The sensor doesnt always work when u walk in the room and my shorter children have a hard time getting them to work .....they are on an 8 foot ceiling....i have 2 of them in a 6x20 room

This device is basically useless because it is totally unpredictable as to when (or if) it will turn on the light. Rarely it comes on immediately but often I have made the trip across the room and back before anything happens. Really disappointed, as the previous one always lit up when I opened the door. Now, it is a crapshoot.

Love these so much, I've bought three and one for my son and daughter's garages as well. I have two in my garage (a large beam keeps one from being effective) so that when I walk in the garage, it immediately lights up. I bought one for a wine cellar so that when I walk in, a light immediately comes on. These are the BEST!

Easier than installing a wall switch. However, you must make sure to aim this properly which may involve pointing it at an somewhat awkward angle. IT WORKS THOUGH

Order two only one works right.

This installs easily, and the timer is nice.BUT it only turns on 65-70% of the time. I use it in a walk-in closet, and a small workshop in my garage.

The motion control doesn't work at all, the light is alway on and never turn off. Very disappointed. Returned the next day! It should be Zero Star instead of one!

not clear where i would stand or make a movement for this thing to activate. directly under it? 45 degree or 75 degree from it. the bottom line is that the sensor is not strong. i have it screwed into the light socket of my garage, which is high above and in the middle. i then stand about 6-8 feet from it and have to move left, right few times for the sensor to pick up my present. if i can return, i would. i should have listen to the other posters. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a few weeks ago to help out in the garage. You can set the duration for the amount of time which the light is on from 1-10 minutes. It does help when you have your arms full and cannot flip a light switch but it doesn’t always turn on. It is supposed to pick up on your motion 15 feet away but I find that I need to be much closer. The other concern I have with it is that it is about the length of a lightbulb which means that the light bulb sock you put it in will increase the exposure to the bulb leading to broken bulbs due to accidental collisions with the light. I like the idea but it’s not super practical for me nor is it very ascetically pleasing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We put this up in the laundry room, simple installation is just like putting as putting in a new bulb. The timing is also easy to adjust, there is a small knob on the side with a#1,#2,#5and #10 so you can pick out how long you want it to stay on. However some of the time the light does not turn on unless you are right under it waving your hands around. And one time it did not shut off, after 10 minutes we had to remove it and the base was pretty hot. It is an o.k. light.

Love the many features packed into this compact unit. Not only motion senses but captures 360 degrees. I also like that you have the ability to select timeout feature. Works great and gives you that added sense of security.

inconsistent in operation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This motion sensor has made my life so much easier. I am now using this in my laundry room so I no longer have to walk in the dark when I’m carrying a load of laundry. The sensor is sensitive enough to pick me up walking into the door way but not to sensitive as to be constantly turning on for now reason. Installation was very easy as you just need a standard light bulb socket. I highly recommend this product as you will not be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sooo excited to get this. I had the perfect place to put it. In our laundry room. We have 2 lights, one in the garage and one in the laundry area. I thought this would be the perfect place because I always forget to shut the light off. My laundry room is off the garage and there is a step up to get to the washing machine. The light hangs right above the area. It has a hard time detecting me. I have to wave my arms around before I step up into the area. Then, while putting the clothes in the dryer, the light shut off on me. I set it for the longest setting. I had high hopes but just was not too happy about the way this works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These motion sensors work great. We are deploying them in many places in the house now. The Key is that won't light when they get enough light from another source. Also very sensitive so I had to place some tape on the sensor to cover directions that we did not want them to trigger from like a closet light which is turning on due to motion in the adjoining room. I was always forgetting to shut off the outside lights on a whim, I searched for a self-contained motion sensing light bulb and sure enough, these came up after reading the reviews and when received I installed them immediately. The other thing I really like about these is that I can use them in conjunction with my ring video doorbell the light from this thing is so bright and goes so far I can't imagine a spotlight being any better or even as good as this light bulb connected to an ordinary socket. For anybody looking at these products as a solution to add motion sensing light around your home oh, this is the right product.

I love the fact that as I walk in the lights automatically turn on. 1 minute later they will automatically shut off. This is so helpful especially when hands are full. Ill be going back to get another one for a different area in my house.

I purchased 6 of these for my cellar and am very satisfied with the performance. After a month of use all 5 have performed flawlessly. The claimed range is 15 ft but if anything I seems like even more. I can, without reservation, highly recommend this product.

A good advance in usability of motion detector add-ons. However, this is really about 300 degree coverage, with three 20 degree gaps and three 100 degree coverage wedges. This may require some experimentation if you’re entering your dark garage from a point within one of those gaps...... easy enough to solve but it would have been easier for me had I not taken “360” to mean 360.
