This close elbow allowed me to recess the clothes dryer 2-3" more than just a typical 90 degree elbow. When your dryer is in a tight location where space is limited, it is well worth the purchase. Additionally, with it is rigid which allows for a solid fit.

It does just what you’d expect and need

Too many creases that show light through when looking in the inside. I went with a regular 90 degree standard elbow

This dryer elbow was perfect for my tight installation. I needed a quick 90 degree turn for the dryer vent and this met all the requirements. It is well built and solid. I'm very happy with the product.

Worked perfect, nice smooth bends, no obstructions. For a 2" x 4" wall I just had to make a built out area for it to fit.

This part was just what I needed and it was sent very quickly. Beat my expectations when I ordered.

We got a new washer and wanted to ‘modernize’ the venting tube for the dryer by replacing the old one. I bought the exact same sleeve and the above exact same ‘elbow’. The new one did not fit over the exit tube coming off the back of the dryer. So I washed the old one and used that instead. The dryer is a Sears Kenmore Elite.

The dryer end is of the same diameter as the dryer exhaust pipe. So to connect them, additional connector that goes inside both ends is needed, which cancels the solution for tight places.

Works great, if you use it on a GE dryer, you may need an extension from the dryer to elbow.
