Bought microwave on August 5, 2017. It has already gone out. I Bought the extra warranty. They set up an appointment for repairs. Appointment was set up for between 8 and 12. No one called or showed up. Spent another 30 minutes on the phone and still do not have a service man. Buyer beware!!!

We had this microwave only 3.5 years. I loved the microwave - it was so easy to use. But the Magnetron failed. We paid $100 for a tech from an appliance repair that we use regularly to come out and look at it when it stopped working. It would have cost another $250 to fix so we are shopping for a new microwave. We bought what we thought was a really good appliance and it just didn't hold up.

I purchased my GE Adora in 2015. Up til now it has worked great. Now it will not heat, everything else works fine, I have had it barely three years . Seems like it should last longer than that. I bought all of my new appliances at the same time. Did buy warranty on the fridge. Who would expect a new microwave to go bad in such a short time, due to repair prices today, I will buy a new one, just not a GE Adora. Since I am a senior citizen. it is difficult to replace in so short a time frame. Used my last GE for ten years . Guess they just don't make them like they used to.

Originally purchased a less expensive GE but was not satisfied with the appearance and quality. Quite loud and the stainless steel finish was a fingerprint magnet. Returned it for the Adora and we are thrilled. Very quiet by comparison and extremely attractive. Love the interior finish and fingerprint resistant exterior. We went with the Slate in spite of all other kitchen appliances being SS. Do not regret it. Strongly suggest spending a little extra. You won't regret it.

I couldn't be more frustrated with a product. It was installed for 2 days. Everything was fine. Then durning 8 minutes of constant use for potatoes, it popped, and my GFI tripped. The microwave does nothing. I tried other plugs in the house and still nothing. I returned it and now have to wait 2 weeks for another one. In the meantime, I had to buy another microwave until the replacement arrives. I'm waiting to see if GE will make this right. I won't hold my breath

Purchased as replacement brackets matched up so no need to change. Becareful to mak sure you get the right model number this one doesn’t have the melt feature. I was at my local store the clerk gave the the model number of the display that have the melt button. So ordered online once rec’d had used twice to warm food. It was 1wk after delivery I was going to use the melt button and it was then I noticed it didn’t have one. I was so upset. They only have a 48hr return on appliances. They didn’t even have this microwave as display. So very disappointed didn’t notice any difference looks exactly the same, only missing the melt button. Other then that great so fare come paired to my old GE cafe microwave over the range.

Purchased complete set of GE Appliances in 10/2016. This microwave needed first repair after 1 week. Then on Thanksgiving it lost power and is not functioning. Waited on phone for over an hour again to get repair authorized. It's now 12/27 and it is still dead. Servicer can't get parts to repair it. GE Service is terrible. The products are great when working, but beware when they break. You can't get them to make good on them.

It's only been a few days, so it's a little early to give a complete review, but it functions as it should and the fingerprint resistant black stainless steel is a drastic improvement over the standard SS of our last kitchen suite. It looks great in our kitchen with the rest of the appliance suite. The HD installers were on time, efficient, and were very careful in protecting the new appliances, as well as our cabinetry and floor tile.

We bought our Adora microwave 3 years ago. I never loved it but didn't mind it. It cooks slower and doesn't do a good job popping popcorn. Today, it began making a buzzing noise when the door was closed and then shut off. After researching the cause, and what it would take to fix the problem we have decided to buy a new microwave. I will never by GE appliances again. We have had problems with all of our GE appliances!
