Works as intended, great water.

The water taste great after I put this filter on better than bottle water.

A professional plumber installed the filter for me. On the third day after installation, I accurately measured water flow rate directly from the filter output ( not my faucet) by using a measuring cup and a stop watch. A Water flow rate seriously slowed down to 980 ml or 0.259 gal per minute, compared 4800 ml or 1.268gal before installation, a reduction of 80% due to the filtration. The so called "full-flow water filtration "product has proven useless and so GE should not sell it again.

I like the easy filter replacement and not having to drill a hole in my countertop for a dispenser. Timer is useless - Can put 6 month reminder in Google calendar instead. I don't like the push connections to the filter which are hard to seat properly and can leak. I wish the filter had brass fittings for 3/8" compression supply lines. Could attach existing supply line to output of filter, and throw in a 2nd set of Hex nut, ferrule, and insert to create line from filter input to valve.

I have it in my rental property and my tenant love it

My husband installed this under our kitchen sink and the difference in taste of our water was immediate. We have a single control kitchen faucet and it works just fine. So glad we made the decision to purchase it.

The way this hooks up is sketchy. One particular connection can only be tightened slightly or it comes apart (the instructions even warn of this), and too loose causes it to leak. Long story short, I connected as the instructions said and the connection burst and sprayed water across my kitchen. Returned to the store. If this had burst when I wasn’t around, it would have been catastrophic.

I've been using a GE reverse osmosis system for years but decided to get the single under-the-sink filter system (GXULQK). It worked well but after two months the chlorine taste is back. I bought an extra filter so at the six month time I could replace the existing filter. I am going to change out the filter now and see what happens.

If you have a single control faucet, be prepared to buy extra parts. The adapters included will work for nearly all 2-control faucets. If you have a single control faucet you are out of luck.

Never knew there was a whole sink filter-we now have three so thank you for offering and carrying this excellent product because the house we bought us 71 years old & we can’t install a whole house filtration system as we had at our home b4 this one!

If you have a single handle faucet don’t bother. I have spent 6 hours trying to figure out how to attach this because all the connections are female and my faucet connection is male. Therefore to use this I need to magically find the right part to actually connect it, figure out how to do it all backwards or I return the piece of crap. Tip: update your instructions for all freaking faucets and the parts for connecting or specify that this only works on certain types and give examples. I’m beyond angry and frustrated, I just wanted clean water.

Provides clean tasty water. The flow is fairly fast. To change filter is not too difficult.
