This stainless steel microwave is very nice looking and doesn't take up too much space. Easy to use, seems to have enough settings and so far is working great. I think the price was Very reasonable for this. I purchased at a known home improvement store, you just need to shop around which I did. It has good amount of room to fit large glass bowl or 9 x 9 glass baking pan. I highly recommend this!

Love the look! Silver looks great! For its size wasn’t too heavy! Can’t wait to see its performance!

Works great but the plastic on the buttons are peeling

Realy nice medium size, and very powerful. I think it is mire powerful than the full size over-the-range unit we had before.

Microwave stopped working doesnt turn on at all not even the display screen after 13 months now that the warranty is expired

It is a good microwave with plenty of space and nice turntable. Heats as it should. The one issue is the black button pad and numbers that are hard to read without direct light on the pad. I find that popcorn bags only pop 100% of the popcorn if you use popcorn cycle twice stopping it halfway through the second cycle. Baked potato needs the same treatment.

Easy setup . No maual was sent with the product. Seem to be solid product.

The owner’s manual doesn’t say what PF means. That is what is showing on the display. Also, the control panel is dark and we cannot see the buttons. Need a flashlight to see the controls!

So far it works pretty good. But for some odd reason the plastic on the number pad is bubbling up and you can barely see the writing on some numbers. I'm hoping it doesn't get worse.

I love the size and the features. It looks really nice in my kitchen. Have only used one day hence the rating of only a 4. I have had through the years many GE appliances (larger) in fact still using my dishwasher installed in 1994. So I hope this will last well as they have.

I'm loving my new microwave it warms my food fast and pops my popcorn just right!

GE 1.1 Cu. Ft. 950W Mid-Size Coiuntertop Microwave - Stainless Steel (model JES1145SH1SS) Bought as a replacement for an older GE model that lasted twenty four years (JES1139WL03 -- door switch broke) Had in now for a month. Works as expected, does everything I need a microwave oven to do. Heats nicely on the rotating plate. Easy to wipe down the interior. The oven operation is not loud. It sounds four beeps when finished cooking, with a single beep to remind you every thirty seconds until you open the door. I would have preferred a white exterior rather than steel & black. I have a compact, dark apartment kitchen, and I find the button labels are hard to read -- they are in dull grey print over a black background, and I always have to turn the light on to see them. My previous model was black printing on a white background. This is mildly annoying. The green LED display is easy to see. Like my previous GE model, the kitchen timer feature is very useful. Like my previous model, I wish there was a way to clear an error entry -- there isn't; if you accidentally hit a wrong number, the "clear" button does nothing. The only solution is to just let in run down to zero. Very annoying if you hit 50 instead of 5 minutes. Annoying all the time is the actual beeper that sounds to lets you know that the timer has finished -- it doesn't end! My old model would beep three times only. This model beeps continually until you go manually clear it. I am sure my neighbors can hear it in the next apartment. This only happens with the kitchen timer feature. This model does not let you mute the beeps in any way. Like my previous GE model, water does condense along the bottom of the window -- you will want to keep a towel handy to wipe this off, every time. My previous model started to rust there after 8-10 years without getting wiped off.

Love my new microwave. Its’s quiet and does whats its supposed to do. The keypad doesnt light up but most microwaves do not. Its stylish and Im happy.

Looks great and works ok if you can stand the noise when it’s running. Have to set a 5# weight on top of it to quiet it down.

Even though this microwave is less powerful than my last one it does an excellent job, has just enough special option buttons and looks sleek in my kitchen!

I puchased this microwave to replace a 18year old JES738WH .7 CU. Ft. 700 watt microwave. I've only had it a day but can tell how much more powerful and efficiant it is. The imediate drawback... touch pad is hard to see, no backlight and lettering isn't bright. I have yet to figure out heating a dinner plate as it looks like the only way is to enter ounces and or time. Not intuitive. And there are presets for pizza which we use a lot. But also potato and beverage which we may never use. Some of the other units we looked at are close to same way.

I had an old GE Microwave & replaced it with a new one. So far I like it, still getting use to it but I love not having to flip the circut breaker a few times a week.

The plastic that covers the start button is peeling off after 11 days of use!

Very good reasonably priced microwave, was disappointed that the selection panel under the clock doesn’t light up.

Bought to replace a Sharp microwave that only lasted 3 years. Already noticed how quite this model is. So far we love it.

We’ve had this microwave for just under a month and so far it’s been very nice. Doesn’t seem to be lacking for power. It has plenty of cooking room. The turntable works well. A very welcome feature is feet that are of a non sliding type. The last microwave we had slid all the way to the wall every time you tried to open the door by pushing the release button. This one stays put!

Just set up by my nephew and right away I used it to defrost a muffin. Easy to use so far and looks beautiful on my kitchen counter. I'm not able to use the microwave over stove as I shrank. Perfect size! Flora

When operating the microwave oven, the quick access buttons are easy to use. Oven is very quiet when in use. Heats items well. Looks great in the kitchen. Definitely pleased with this appliance!
