Cleans well, long cycle times if you use the sanitize option but that's okay because I usually just run it over night. My tall clear glasses don't come out clear with or without bottle jets and I've tried two types of rinse aid, so that's why it is getting four stars not five. Also if a quiet but high pitched noise would bother you, don't get this unit. It has a low decibel high pitched running noise going for a lot of the cycle. Doesn't bother me much and I usually run it over night and it cleans everything else beautifully, fits lots of dishes, love the adjustable rack, dedicated silverware jets, three levels of water sprayers, sanitize option, "real" buttons (not simple touch screen buttons), and overall look and ease of use. Cycle times: Normal 78 Normal with sanitize 157 Light 54 Heavy 150 Heavy with sanitize 205 Steam adds 5 min Bottle jets add 23 min Heated dry adds 64 min Changing wash zones doesn't change cycle time.

Bought this about 4 months ago. It simply doesn't clean well. The reviews about 4 hour wash cycles are correct. However, the reason that people need to run it on the 4 hour wash cycle is that shorter cycles don't clean at all. You need to set the unit on water temp boost, bottle clean, steam clean, etc, etc just to get about half the items clean. Unless you thoroughly clean silverware before you put it in, even the slightest food residue (apple sauce, cereal milk, etc) will end up being a stain on the silverware. Things in the top rack seem to be cleaned a lot better than the bottom rack. Honestly, I actually think half the stuff I take out of the dishwasher (after 4 hours of washing) is still dirty. I run the hot water before starting, I'm using the detergent they supplied with the unit and I've been around long enough to know when a dishwasher works and when it doesn't. This dishwasher doesn't work.

The racks seem to be designed ina way that holds fewer dishes than my previous GE Profile dishwasher. And the dark interior makes it difficult to see inside. But I bought a second GE profile because of how quiet it is, and this one is Super quiet.

This dishwasher would be very quiet were it not for the frequent, loud clunking noises made by the motor, which starts and stops many times during a typical cycle. My old GE dishwasher did not do this. The motor also emits a faint, high pitched whine when running. Cycle times are crazy long. Auto wash with sanitizing and heated dry clocks in at 235 minutes. Yep, that's almost 4 hours! Turning on the bottle washers adds 23 minutes to any cycle, which seems excessive. Drying is so-so; not bad, but not great either. My old GE dishwasher did a much better job with drying. The white indicator lights on the control panel are much too bright, and can be distracting if you have an open floor plan like I do. My unit arrived fresh from the factory with a minor scratch on the lower portion of the front door, the one place not protected by plastic wrap during shipping. While the scratch is not visible from most viewing angles, you would hope that a brand new appliance would arrive blemish free. Overall, not a terrible dishwasher, but not particularly impressive either, especially given the high price.

GE Dishwasher delivered and installed on 4-27-2018. Started leaking within a day. Installers checked it on 5-7-2018 and said Dishwasher was defective. To date, GE Customer Relations has not been able to locate and schedule a GE technician to check out he Dishwasher. Terrible customer service, will not buy GE again. Still unresolved as 5-15-2018.

Worst dishwasher we’ve ever owned! 2 weeks after the 1 year warranty was up, it completely broke. The wash pump motor was replaced along with other parts as the ge repairman wasn’t sure what was wrong with it. 6 weeks after having it fixed, the wash pump motor is busted again and now the control panel needs to be replaced too. This dishwasher isn’t even 1.5 years old and we take really good care of it. We’ve reached out to ge since we are going on our 3rd wash pump motor and they aren’t willing to replace the unit for us. For the amount of money we paid, I would have expected better quality!

We've had several problems with this dishwasher since buying it. In less than 2 years it barely works - the soap dispenser doesn't open on most washes, it only occasionally dries, and it doesn't get a lot of standard washes clean. We built a new house, installed GE products (were required to from our builder) and are already replacing the dishwasher with another brand. It won't match but it's not worth it to get a GE one again.

Great product with unique features. Much Much quieter than its 20 year old Maytag predecessor but not as quiet as a Bosch dishwasher we once owned. The racks are noticeably flimsy compared to the old Maytag but I expect that may be a common observation about newer appliances. Despite some comments regarding problems with drying, we have found that setting the drying temperature to the mid point (176 degrees) dries everything completely. Air dry without any heat resulted in wet dishes... We have not found a need to use the sanitize mode yet. The entire purchase process was done online... Great videos available on the Home Depot website and I supplemented the GE provided info with Consumer Reports. This unit was among the highest rated dishwashers and interestingly a little be less expensive than several of the other highly rated machines. Delivery and installation were great! On time, courteous, careful and professional results.
