I had the same model in 2015. I loved it so much that I just purchased the updated model. I love the new air fryer feature . So far I love it just as much as I did my previous one.

This is the best full featured microwave ever. My conventional air fryer took up so much space on my counter I was looking for an alternative.

We bought hours 5 years ago. The oven did not live up to our expectations. The microwave is fine. Out of nowhere the door handle broke off at both ends. The plastic piece holding the handle onto the door just snapped off. This is absolutely not normal.

Just recieved and installed. We'll packaged. Good instructions and easy registration. Excited to try some convection recipes and baking . This is installed in our country coach motorhome. Since we do not have a seperate oven this functions as our microwave, convection roaster and baking appliance. Will be trying the air fryer option also

Neither one lasted more than 3 years. Display went on both of them, and the door I’m just completely shattered from the stovetop heat?!?! Piece of garbage.

Have not tried the air fryer feature yet. I have used the convection bake a couple times for doing cookies and a frozen pizza. Have also used the microwave for reheating some leftovers. So far I’m very happy with the performance of this microwave. My only complaint is the interface is a little more involved than any other microwave I’ve used in the past. Seems like it could be easier than always having to use the knob for setting temperatures and times.

So far I really enjoy the features, mainly the air fryer. I was a little skeptical of it being an air fryer, but it really works well, and you can adjust it manually to different temperatures, or use its auto features foe common things like chicken wings. I also baked a pizza in it, and was pleased with its results. The fan works very well, and the LED lights really are bright on the high setting which is nice for cooking!

Nice over the stove unit. Bright led lighting. Features and setting the clock are not too intuitive.

Within two years the control knob broke and sensor cooking ceased to function correctly. At three years it ceased cooking entirely and the cost to repair was higher than replacement. Would not recommend this product under any circumstances. GE quality is poor based on my experience.

Very convenient and great options with the air fry and convection oven! Installation was very simple.

Door was scratched. Got a new door that had a broken latch. Got another door with a puncture wound. The exhaust fan was LOUD and needed to be replaced. That took 2 service visits to fix.

Great unit. We’re replacing the same exact model that we bought 5 years ago

Love the functionality of this microwave! The design is great - looks sleek & updated… and customer service was outstanding in rushing me a turntable when it cracked in half on its first use. Truly they were so helpful! I would recommend this to anyone! IT’s eliminating an oven for me & that’s saving me $$!

A replacement for a prior GE microwave that gave us over ten years excellent service

I like the versatility of being able to use it as a microwave or electric oven. It does take a long time to preheat. I haven’t tried air frying in it yet. I didn’t notice when I bought it that it doesn’t have a keypad. You set the time and power with a dial. I would prefer a keypad. I do like it though. It looks and works great.

Had this new microwave about 3 weeks and it is great. Easy and use and does what it is supposed to do. Convection, microwave and air fryer. All that saves a lot of counter space. Can’t beat it at this price.

This was purchased to replace a 20 year-old major store brand that appeared to be made by GE. The new microwave has slightly less power than the old one, so takes a little longer to heat things, but this is a minor quibble. The interior is easy clean, and the overall design is good. We'll get used to the dial over time. The options are plentiful. The LED lights and clock are bright and clear. It was easy to convert the fan to recirculation. We tried the air fry function, and it took much longer to crisp things than the product recommended. It will take some time to get that function down. This fit exactly in the space where the old microwave hung, which was important, since the solid backsplash left zero wiggle room. Overall, this has worked out fine. Hopefully, reliability is as good as the old one.

We love this microwave. The Slate Black was a great choice for our updated kitchen. The Airfryer is a very handy as well. Great price, very fast shipping direct from GE. Lead times through bigbox stores were way longer.

I bought this microbe for the air fry feature and have not been disappointed. It crisps well and cooks evenly. The dial and time takes a bit of practice to adjust to but is very easy to use after a few times.

We purchased this microwave in August 2018. I never liked the knob that you use to set the cook time with, and the microwave itself always felt "cheaply made" to me, but I picked it out, so I lived with it. Today, the handle came loose at the bottom and broke off. Now I can finally get this thing out of my kitchen and replace it with something I'm happy with.
