You don't need a college degree to operate it!
Easy to use!
No fancy logos allows the GE Microwave to easily blend with other appliances.
Exhaust system works better than any over the range microwave that I've ever owned.
Food cooks and reheats evenly.

Love the look but wish they keypad could be set to be back-lit also. Extremely disappointed that the interior has a cardboard piece covering part of it instead of the plastic cover the floor model showed. I am told this is a change and would not
have purchased it if I had known. Looks horrible
and how long will it last with cleaning. Salesman is working to correct the issue by taking the part from floor model as he has been told this is the way they come now.
Needed to replace our older GE profile over the range vent as it started to turn on when the door opened. I do like the features on this model especially the easy access charcoal filter replacement. Doesn’t seem as powerful as the watts on it are are a bit lower than previous. Just happy it coordinates with our existing profile range.
1) Was concerned when installed did not come with much in the way of instructions. But after reviewing panel the process is quite intuitive and is easy to operate.
2) The real test is time will it continue to perform as well as it is performing now “new”.
3) I was accustomed to my older unit and though it was state of the art when I purchased it 8 years ago but I now realize that GE has continued to improve and upgrade there products all the time.
4) With the COVID 19 I was unable to go to various stores and do my usual shop and compare process. Instead I called my local trusted retailer and asked for the best product for me. He said he has seen the gambit of units and had purchase for his home the GE profile Microwave.
The problem is GE went cheap and didn’t use a high quality scratch resistant plastic over the buttons.. I have had the unit for 6 months and it looks like i use a Brillo pad to clean it when I use a clean microfiber cloth. Very disappointed.. this should be glass touch like the matching stove and fridge.

Rusty door out of the box!
the installation technician opened the factory sealed box this morning and started installation in my vacation rental on Maui. Under the protective plastic film covering I found four areas of rust, deep pitting on the door. Soon our guests will see what I wish was a high quality product.
