Propane Ready - Replaced the same model from 2004
This unit was so good for 16 years, we decided to just get the newest version. We like the flat black grills and flat black vent cover versus the glossy ones we had before. The regulatory/safety stickers are ridiculous on the glass service but they came off with Goo Gone, but we had to spend an extra 20 minutes getting those off. With propane it's a great cook top. We don't have kids or pets so cleanup is a snap. If I had kids with fingerprints and messes, be ready to work to keep this one shiny. Here is the old one and the new one in the pics. Also if you are doing Propane I included a snapshot of the regulator.

Nice look, works great.
Selected this to replace 21 year old existing GE stove-top. The only thing is I choose stainless steel. The cooktop is black with a 1 inch strip of stainless steel around the edges. It is easy to clean but difficult to look clean with the shiny black ceramic top. It should not be listed as stainless.

Installation was delayed due to manufacturing specs not accurate regarding how the depth of the unit in the cabinet. Required two additional pieces of bends to allow the blower to get installed. Help line of Home Depot was NOT helpful. Had to go back into the store and get employee to work with parts online to order necessary parts. Took an additional week. Stove top works fine and is nice looking. Installation just a drag.

Great stovetop
My second one, I like that this is flat and not recessed on the cabinet, makes it much easier to clean. The fan takes up a lot of room under the cabinet So if you’re putting this in as a replacement be careful it can be hard to hook up to existing vent work
Wish I could have used a 36 inch wide but it would not fit
Not that you’ll need it but they should offer a better warranty with all their products

Love the flat surface for cleaning!
Upgraded from older cooktop. This one the downdraft works so much better. Ease of cleaning with flat surface.

Attractive unit easy installation
Easy instructions to follow, only issue i had was configuring the existing duct to the previous Jenn Air downdraft. There was a problem with the blower which had a loose blower assembly. Could not take apart and fix and GE Service was quick to respond with a new assembly. After that everything worked fine.
