WE PURCHASED THIS COOKTOP IN MARCH 2021. INITIALLY I WROTE A STELLAR REVEIW. LOOKED GREAT .I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO USING IT . AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS A LEARNING CURVE. REALITY SET IN. FIRST AND FOREMOST IT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO CLEAN AND IMPOSSIBLE TO GET IT LOOKING POLISHED. FOR SOME REASON THE AREA AROUND THE KNOBS WERE ALWAYS SMEARY DESPITE TAKING THEM OFF EACH TIME TO CLEAN . I EVEN WENT ON YOUTUBE LOOKING FOR HELP NOT SURPRISINGLY THERE WERE MANY SHARING MY FRUSTRATIONS . CALLING THE COMPANY REALLY DIDN'T HELP EVEN THOUGH I USED THE PRODUCTS THEY RECOMMENDED. THE COOK TOP IS ONLY4 MONTHS OLD AND IT LOOKS AWFUL THERE ARE PERMANENT WHITE STAINS THAT SEEM TO BE UNDER THE GLASS ITSELF. I AM VERY DILLIGENT ABOUT KEEPING THINGS CLEAN AND I EVEN WENT OUT AND BOUGHT NEW POTS AND PANS AS THERE IS A LIST OF MATERIALS SUGGESTED AS NOT TO USE. DESPITE ALL THIS THERE ARE WHITE STAINS THAT WILL NOT GO AWAY AND THE STOVE TAKES LONGER TO CLEAN THAN IT DOES TO MAKE AN ENTIRE DINNER.ON TOP OF THAT COOKING ON IT IS A CHALLENGE NOT EASY TO GET A SIMMER AND LOW HEAT IS NOT LOW . THE SYNC BURNERS ARE PRETTY USELESS IF YOU WANT TO USE A GRILL TRAY. SORRY GE I HAVE BEEN LOYAL TO THE BRAND FOR 40 YEARS I AM TRULLY DISSAPOINTED IN THIS STOVE

I can't stand this stove top. Within a week of installation it has very fine scratches from the pots. My pots are nearly new Calphalon. The stovetop is a nightmare to clean and then polish. I will say this is my first and only Ceramic stovetop, if you are a normal cook who drips, over boils , splashes, or fries know wipe up is relatively easy it will smear and have to be polished every time you use it. I have better thing to do but I won't leave a streaked mess sitting.

Using for the last 3 weeks and has been great. Easy too clean and heats up quickly.

Love the burners. How you can use in each burner for large or small pots. If it’s a large pot you can turn each burner entirely vs. a small pot you get to use the smaller part if the same burner. And it’s quick!!

No 12 in burners, hard to cook on with the knobs in front, hard to keep clean.

Having a great time cooking on this new range. Still learning features.

Great basic cooktop. Sturdy. Good looking, lots of burners

I purchased this stove top about 2 months ago. The stove itself works great, but I'm not the top does not clean up well. I have been using a recommend product to clean the stove top but I already have marks that will not come out.

We replaced all of our 20 year old GE Profile appliances with new Profile without any renovations required

Very expensive...only lasted 4years before needing to be replaced and very, very hard to keep clean.

This cooktop GEprofile has great features and replaced our old GEprofile cooktop that we had for 22 yrs!

I replaced a GE cooktop with this new one. After only about 5 uses the top was discolored and burners fo not cook evenly.

Several complaints with this cooktop. First, the notion of a ceramic top looks great in the show room, but is difficult to maintain. A cooktop surface should allow scrubbing with kitchen cleaners, not require a special cooktop cleaner. Cooktop layout is not optimum. The biggest burner is located center rear, behind the knobs. For a short cook, this mean you cannot see into a large pot placed on the big burner. Knobs should be out of the way on a side, not front center.

I had old GE profile model that was discontinued and found this model has more features.

Poor design and poor materials Very disappointing that the fine print of the manual says “don’t spill on cooktop or it can potentially cause pitting of the finish. Especially sugary foods.... Who cooks and never spills anything?!! No matter how careful you are, spills still happen!! What poor design and shame on a bunch of engineers for putting out a product that only looks good for a minute. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS COOKTOP, you’ll only be wasting your $$

I like the look of the product and am satisfied with its performance, especially like the power boil feature. But it is so very difficult to keep clean! Even a small drop of clean water makes a mark. I find I am spending a lot more time cleaning my stovetop than I thought I would. A suggestion: include a cleaning kit (Ceramabrite makes one) with the purchase of the cook top.

The cooktop is very well designed with ease of operation and maintenance

It performs the way I expected and am glad I made the purchase.

Everything you expect, only issue I have is that the heating dials are really tough to clean around. My wife insisted on these rather than the touch buttons but I would defo prefer the buttons

This replaced a 20 year old cooktop. The finish is beautiful, and the heat is even and predictable. Couldn't ask for more!

Lights stopped working after a month and horrible to clean. Tried to return it and GE would not allow me to.

Looks great with my new countertops, but keeping it clean is tricky. White ceramic stove top was easier to keep clean. Controls in front and 5 burners have proved to be helpful.
