It seems to work very well. It suits the remodel in the kitchen.

I would’ve given it 5 starts but the sound is too loud on the high setting of the fan.

Did not work. Power supply was fine - control board was dead. Returning.

Function is great, but my husband has smacked his head on the corner too many times already. maybe rounded corners would have been better? It just sticks out so far from the cabinets he hasn't gotten used to it enough yet. I don't remember our last one having quite as far out from the wall profile.

Just like I expect it, the color matches the stove.

This replaced a 30 year old original hood...we’ve bought GE Profile over the past 20 years and the quality is still there...

There were issues with the unit we received. So we have called the GE warranty department for the repair agent to come over and resolve it. The unit is not turning or powering on/off too easily. It does not turn on/off smoothly. It is also quite noisy at times. It also does not seem to be functioning well as an exhaust channel.

Didn’t work after assembly

The exhaust on this over-the-range hood is quite powerful on the HI setting, and extremely quiet on the LO. The digital keypad is a nice feature but it takes a bit of getting used to the slight delay (about 1.5 seconds) for the setting to change. One disappointment is the LED lighting. Two pucks at either end of the front of the hood concentrate the work light at either end and front of the cooktop surface, leaving the middle and back of the cooktop barely lit - not something I expected from a high-end fairly expensive product.

The title says it all. This unit does the job it was designed to do well and looks great without being too much.

Installed hood and hooked it up with little problem. When I tried it out for the first time it would not turn on. I then checked all connections to make sure there was power to the unit. After verifying that the unit was indeed getting power I tried to turn it on again, still nothing. I returned the unit to the place of purchase and am now waiting for a replacement. Very aggravating.

I am very impressed with this hood vent. The fan is very quiet on low and not to loud on the high levels. The lights are also very bright, best I have ever had.

It's a nice quality, fairly quiet yet powerful fan. The lighting is great.

The hood works great when turned on but it needs either an auto on or make it a smart hood with an app for more features. Would love the auto on feature to come on once it senses temperatures rise or sme kind of steam sensor.

Works great and looks beautiful in our new kitchen

Looks great. Well made. Easy install. Only two complaints 1) Loud! 2) no part no. Model no. Or other info given about the charcoal filter (sold separately) for recirc. mode. Only 30 in. Black Slate undercab. range hood on the market atm. so would def. recommend to match new ranges

It’s great at pulling steam or smoke or whatever out of the air.

We love the elegant looks and beautiful features. Especially the light.

I have purchased many GE kitchen products and this particular one is extremely noisy when running. Disappointed

Good looking and overall nice unit

Very quiet. Sleek.

Each of the four appliances we purchased came with flaws scratchiest and dents. The company felt that was acceptable for brand new purchases. This is not the way we think business should be done. Yes they work but the cosmetics is disgraceful. Would not buy another GE Profile appliance

Missing bottom filters and unit will not power up at all. Need to get another and try again
