We regret any trouble you had with the GSWF replacement being narrower and not allowing water flow; reduced water flow is not a known issue, and certainly not what we would expect of this filter. Have you tried removing and reinstalling the filter, to make sure everything is installed as it should be? For water flow issues, you may also want to check to make sure there is no kink in the supply tubing or a clog in the saddle-valve. We hope those tips may be helpful in resolving this issue. We do have a test process to determine if the pressure and water flow is lower than we would expect, and whether the filter is clogged or you have another issue. The test also discusses other possible issues that could cause a lack of water pressure.
