  • Good Buy

I bought this for a new dishwasher I installed. I was going to use the one from my four years old dishwasher but decided to replace everything. It comes with a plastic stress relief and three wire nuts. If you are going to spend hundreds or more on new appliances do yourself a favor and get new power cords and hoses.

Pros Easy to Use, High Quality, Easy to Install, great price

Excellent product, easy to hookup to dishwasher. Without it, our first ever dishwasher would be useless.

  • Worked good for me
  • May 29, 2014

product was quite simply a long 3 pronged power cable for appliances. Shortened mine up a few feet and used it on my new vent hood. A little simple wire stripping and cutting and I saved about $20 over the recommended part that had the same specs.

  • Perfect for my new dishwasher
  • February 15, 2013
  • Recommended Product

I needed a new power supply for my Whirlpool dishwasher, and this one worked out perfectly. I'm so glad I didn't have to order one and wait for days to get it! Thank you Home Depot! P.S. I didn't have an issue with the length, I guess it just depends on how far away the outlet is!

  • WARNING--- THE WEBSITE CLAIMS CORD IS 6FT IT IS NOT!!! IT IS 5'4
  • February 08, 2016

Ordered a GE Dishwasher, for some reason it does not come with an electrical cord to plug into a wall socket !?! So after many on-line chats and many misleading and confusing bits of information, I called GE to clarify, they gave me a part #. Ordered from HD online pickup in store, got to HDepot, the receipt said 6ft cord, the tag on the shelf said 6ft cord, the package said 5ft 4inches. I guess the cord went on a diet ;) No one knows why or can explain. Spoke to a guy in electrical he was able to find a HDX CORD that was a true 6ft and had the same specks as the GE CORD (watts, amp, load). Also the HDX CORD was cheaper. I will have both on hand and see which one the installer prefers and will return the other.
