Long story short the micro switch in my gate arm wore down to the point if wouldn’t trigger when the gate closed. This caused my gate to re open after closing. Resetting the arm mounts did not fix the issue. Customer support adv that this was not covered. The rep advised that only the arms motor and gear are covered. I’m displeased that this product last 2 years and 11 months.

Works great. I wanted an actuator that would work for a lift gate. I counterbalanced the gate so the actuator did not have to do much work. No problems. It's been up and running for a couple of weeks so far. We'll see what happens in the winter...

Easy to install. Whole installation took about 3 hours. All parts needed for the install were included the only thing need was wire to connect the transformer to the controller.

After 8 months my solar panel stopped working. Because of their onerous claim process I ponied up $200 for a new panel from another supplier because they did not want to do the right thing.

Super easy install and everything works great thus far.

Nice kit easy to install only issue needs to have more push button units added to kit and open/close button on housing box

I had no problem putting it on problem was the batteries were dead so I had to go out and buy a new batteries for the remotes and the actuator itself. Kind of disappointing must’ve been sitting in the warehouse for too long.

Works Great however could use better instruction. I had to call ghost controls on the phone and they were VERY helpful.

Easy install, so far no issues

I used a Mighty Mule for 10 years before it started giving me trouble and it had been noisy and pretty slow. The Ghost is much quieter and faster. Setup was easy. During setup I had a question and customer service was prompt and knowledgeable.

Very easy install with well written instructions. Quality construction and compact design with additional features you can buy. I had an estate gate opener that was an absolute nightmare from install to the day it died. Which was only a year. I had this one installed in no time and adjusted the open/ close on first try. Love this opener. Comes with the battery as well as the transformer to keep it charged. Had to adapt the installation to the gate because of the gate’s construction but it works like a charm. Everything is included except the low voltage transformer wire which I already had a supply of. I read the online instruction manual several times while awaiting delivery so when it came I was already familiar with the entire installation.

I wish I could program its remote to also open our garage door or vice versa.

The gate opener worked for two weeks and then started opening and closing repeatedly on its own. When an attempt was made to try and stop it, a loud, shrill siren-like noise occurred. I definitely got a defective product. I am planning to return if I'm allowed. Home Depot's return policy say's "unused, unopened" project.

Gate controller works as designed, opens every time we push the button. Only thing I wish Ghost Controls had was a key-fob sized remote control, other than that, everything seems well designed and should last for many years.

Good quality opener. Install and setup was not complicated; instructions provided necessary information for gate/opener position and programing remotes was easy. Only criticism is that I had to fabricate mounting pieces to better position the opener on 4x4 aluminum posts with heavy duty off-set hinges. Ghost costumer service is great!
