Really liking the new cart and ease of use. The steering is very good while sitting and moving along. Easy to pull, but added a bit of length to std. nylon, as I am tall and it was not enough. I use one of my Garden kneeling cushions as this makes it more comfortable and added to seat height. The large seat with handles is great and the ability to swivel around easily and move feet is excellent (due to 3 wheels). Had a few weeks now and all is good. Added a bucket for tools, gloves, etc. and flat stick for putting under tires when on a slope.

The Gorilla Carts Rolling Garden Scooter arrived neatly in a medium sized box in a few days. My son was over for the day so we decided he would put the Scooter together. He unpacked all the parts and read the directions on how to assemble the Scooter. As I watched the transformation of the Scooter from parts to the Rolling Scooter it was obvious the directions were simple and easy to follow as he had the Garden Scooter together in about 15 minutes. He mentioned that this Rolling Garden Scooter was built to last as it is rated up to 400 pounds. It’s very heavy duty. The nylon bolts and washers are top grade material and it is very well made out of heavy steel and weighs about 35 pounds. It has a tool pouch and 2 bungie cords for a bucket on the back so you can haul it around with you. With the height adjustable very large swiveling seat that adjusts from 12 to 16 inches and steering lever it makes it very easy to maneuver wherever you want to go in any direction and is very comfortable. The long strap also makes it easy to pull behind you while you aren’t sitting on it. When you are sitting on it be sure and keep hold of the strap as it can easily get caught under the front wheel. No motors just your feet and legs. As heavy duty as it is if you rolled over your foot you would be sure to never do that again. This will make my gardening very easy as it is low enough to the ground I don’t need to bend over as far as if I was standing up. It also will make my knees love me as I don’t have to kneel on them. It will save both my back and knees. This Gorilla Carts Rolling Garden Scooter is so cute when it’s not in use I think I will put a potted plant on the seat and roll it in front of my house or maybe on my back deck. I am completely satisfied with the Gorilla Carts Rolling Garden Scooter and can’t wait for the weather to break in Colorado so I can get to using this wonderful cart.

I never knew something like this could make gardening so easy. As the years go on, my ability to work on my hands and knees is more challenging. This really helps. The cart is sturdy. It’s solid and very well made. The seat screws so the height is adjustable. I do have some improvements that could be made. Since this is a Gorilla product, they should use the same wide tires they use for their garden carts. If your soil is soft, when you sit, the wheels sink right into the soil since they are so narrow. The tow strap or handle is not the best design. It drags and gets caught under the wheels when you scoot along the ground. I think a rigid handle that telescopes might be a better option. All in all, this is still a great product and I would recommend it to a friend.

Very well built, easy to assemble, very impressed. Includes a tool pouch and a bracket (with bungees) on the back to carry a bucket with you. We've had the scooters that have fixed wheels, and they were always hard to get to change direction. This one, with its steering handle on the front wheel is way easier to maneuver. Nice large seat too! (Not that anyone I know needs that ...)

The assembly directions were excellent, clear diagrams & written directions. I had trouble finding the right size socket (11/16 mm) for the seat & ended up taking it to the local Home Depot. I would recommend considering this garden seat as it is well made, has an adjustable height seat & has parts that will not rust.

Very solidly built, rolls and turns well on smooth ground. It is a little more challenging on rough ground, but consider that reasonable. Really like the feature for holding the bucket on the back. Swivel seat is comfortable and improved by adding a small chair seat pad. I like how solid it is and use it for lots of other things besides the garden when needing to work at low levels such as painting or cleaning baseboards. I have had smaller lightweight plastic rolling seats and this by far is superior as it turns and I don't see another one on the market at this price that actually turns. Only criticism I can offer is the seat if extended up much wobbles a tiny bit, but is not a big deal as I'm short and need it down low and it is solid in the lower position. I can bend over and reach the weeds and to work ground level easily for hours so I'm really happy to have it and as an early senior, it will allow me to work for years longer in my garden.

Overall, this scooter is built like a tank. However, it arrived with a defective front caster, but was still functional. I contacted Gorilla Carts, and they are sending a new front caster. It is very maneuverable and very comfortable. I used it to refinish a large deck. It is a well designed scooter, and I would purchase again.

Gorilla Rolling Garden Scooter - a Home Depot Seeds Program Review My back and legs are not what the used to be so gardening has gotten a bit more difficult. I’ve seen the nice carts and stools available to put me closer to the ground for planting and weeding but I never got anything. I finally got this Gorilla Rolling Scooter to help me out. The cart is very sturdy and pretty heavy with a steel bar running the length and a swiveling metal seat that’s adjustable from twelve to sixteen inches. The total weight is about thirty pounds and is rated to hold 400 pounds. There’s a platform in the back that holds a 5-gallon bucket held on by the included bungee cords. There’s also a canvas-type tool holder that goes over the center bar and easily holds necessary gardening tools like trowels, dibbles, weeders, etc. There is a short steering handle in the front that allows a zero turning radius and there’s a strap that attaches to it to allow pulling the cart. The wheelbase is pretty narrow so it’s pretty tippy when pulling it with any kind of load. This is not an issue when sitting on it. Assembly was a piece of cake. It took all of about 20 minutes for my three year old grandson and me to assemble it. Without his help it may have taken 10 minutes. I did not like that there are three different sizes of Phillips screws – from small to very large. The list of tools required for assembly doesn’t mention this but I never believe those “required tools” lists anyhow. The ten inch wheels are 2.5 inches wide and are “flat-free” which, I assume, is a euphemism for solid, non-pneumatic tires. While they my require a little more maintenance, I think a pneumatic tire would be better for rolling through soft soil. These tires are a little narrow and dig into soft, worked soil pretty well. The cart is best used on the outside of the garden area. The cart is eighteen inches wide and the lowest parts are four inches off of the ground. That should be narrow enough to be able to fit between rows in a vegetable garden but you may want to plan for that. In general I’m pretty pleased with the cart. It is very well made and sturdy. I have no doubt this will last many years. It gets me close to the ground without killing my back and knees. It’s easily maneuvered and narrow enough to fit between rows of plants and gets very close to the edge of gardens being worked on. The bucket holder in the back is great for filling with weeds. I did not like to various sizes of Phillips crews used in the assemble – especially the very large ones since not everyone will have a driver large enough to handle them. I would rather have had pneumatic tires that would be less likely to sink into worked soil but I’ll wait and see how these “flat-free” ones work.

This is a very heavy duty garden cart that will last years. It is designed to hold up to 400 lbs. so one needs not worry about it breaking. All of the parts are heavy iron and the carts weight is around 35 pounds. Assembly of the cart is very easy and fast if you have the tools. I wound up using two different size Phillips screwdrivers and a ratchet and socket instead of pliers. The front wheel makes it easy to steer even when sitting on the cart and pushing it with your feet. The wide seat comfortably seats almost any build, and you can swivel it 360 degrees. This also raises or lowers the seat. The seat can also be used to haul bags of seed, fertilizer or plants in/on and pulling the cart by the front strap. The large wheels are designed to roll over rough terrain without bogging down. There is a bucket holder in the back and the cart even comes with two bungee cords to hold it on to the metal bucket support. The adjustable seat allows one to work in comfort at whatever height or direction is needed. The seat handles aid in standing and sitting and the metal seat is very sturdy. It may be a few dollars more than other riding garden carts but they do not have the strength of a Gorilla.
