I say good at this time as it is not installed yet but I anticipate that it will work fine. So the truth of the matter is that I haven’t established a rating for it yet.

The system doesn't come with and installation kit and I had to return it.The cost of buying an installation kit increase the whole system cost and I was better off buying from other vendor and brand for a significant saving.

Hardly a DIY product. No control wiring, no refrigerant lines. There are other models that are better suited to DIY. HVAC guy wants to charge a fortune to install lines and electrician isn’t going to be cheap either.

I purchased this unit and did my own install. So it is a DIY Unit, it comes with the outside to inside wiring, lineset, drain hose, wifi, etc. You do need to be familiar with working with copper, you need tools. Look at the manual that is linked, it shows you what tools you need. I documented my entire installation process at diy chat room forums. It's not hard, but you do need to have a set of hvac gauges, a nitrogen tank with regulator, a vacuum pump, and be familiar with HVAC equipment in general. You also need to be able to run a 240VA 12 gauge circuit with a 15 amp dual pole breaker to an outside Disconnect and use a proper liquid tite fitting to make the final electrical connection to the unit. So you need to be skilled in not only HVAC but also Electrical trades. If you already have this knowledge and these tools, installation is a snap. Otherwise, suggest you hire a professional that can get all this done for you. If you go the DIY route, expect to spend anywhere from 500 to a thousand or so dollars on HVAC tools. You need to be skilled at flaring copper tubing as well. No refrigerant charging is required unless you are planning on going beyond a certain maximum lineset length, I believe the installation manual states that it comes precharged with enough refrigerant for a 25' lineset run, even though it only comes with a 15' lineset. Also be aware, the minimum lineset length is 10' and that's very important for these heat pump units, you cannot go below 10' lineset run.

Returned since no one on the planet, including Home Depot, will install this unit. Purchased a similar Mr. Cool unit that is designed for DIY self install. That one is working great.

The Livo+ was installed in a bonus room over the garage and so far it's wonderful. Very adequately heats the space and it should cool the area as well in the summer.

I returned the unit because I didn't see the fine print that the pipe to connect the unit doesn't come with it. The pipe costs $259 putting the overall cost for everything way over comparable models.
