The designer evidently had experience installing other pull-down spray faucets, because the weight on this faucet is installed after the spray hose is connected. This way you don’t have to deal with the weight on the hose during installation. The instructions are all in pictures without narrative. If you look closely you will understand what the pictures are saying. I guess studying pictures makes you take the time to really understand, rather than just skim-reading narrative and not really understanding the installation issues. The package includes a container of lubricant for the 0-ring seals. The included tool for removing and replacing the strainer will be kept where I know I can find it. I appreciated advice to install the faucet on the sink before installing the sink. This eliminated some awkward work inside the cabinet. However, the installation was straightforward, and it would have been easier than previous faucet installations even if the sink had already been in place. The finish on this faucet fits the look of the other items in my kitchen. I like having the spout higher than other faucets. As my neighbor says, that allows filling larger containers. The side handle fits nicely in the arrangement of items needed above the counter. The steady stream and the spray do not spread out like other faucets, so I can direct the water exactly where I need it. Being able to swing the spout from side to side allows working with multiple items without having to pull the spout down. The spout pulls down easily, and returns easily to the stationary position.

This was a great replacement faucet. We had one of those automatic turn on faucets that drove my spouse crazy. There are a couple great features that set it apart from my old one. The amount of water it puts out was an increase which we needed due to low water pressure. It was a very nice smooth design at the faucet end. It looks seamless with the hose that has a sprayer button option. The sprayer option is more concentrated to a smaller area than the usual wider spray (see picture). The lever works very smoothly and is marker nicely. Installation was a breeze and took me, a DYI person, about 30 minutes to remove my old faucet and install this one. No special tools where needed. The ONLY thing that I might change on it is, hose length slightly longer and when the sprayer hose retracts into the faucet, at times it has a notch that needs to line up to retract the final 1/8th inch (see picture). Great product, looks great, easy to install, very functional.

This is a (near) perfect faucet for my 15 inch bar sink. I had to replace an existing kitchen faucet that was just a little too big for the sink. While this one fits a lot better, it would be perfect if the span was an inch or two shorter so it centered with the drain (see pics). The installation was pretty straight forward and simple, although once again, Grohe includes instructions that consist of no written directions and tiny little hieroglyphics that don't clearly identify the parts. I believe the red rubber-band looking gasket was supposed to go on top of the sink, but I placed the flat black one there instead since I thought it would offer more protection for my sink and against water getting under the faucet. It is not visible after installation.
The looks and functionality of the faucet are top notch. It has a fingerprint resistant coating that does a great job of preventing fingerprints and water spots. The pull out nozzle clicks back into place with a little push and locks firmly. The water flow is focused both in regular and spray modes, which produces a strong flow and prevents excess splashing so you don't end up with water outside of your sink. It pivots out of the way and the handle functions smoothly.
I'm very happy with the faucet's performance and looks. If Grohe would just focus on improving their installation instructions (bigger diagrams and label the parts), they'd make a lot of people very happy.

The nicest faucet you can buy! I have to tell you, this thing is no lightweight. My last faucet was/is cheap in comparison. I can tell you stories of fake brass plastic threading/bases, plastic everything, not everything included, and so on. Not here. A real old fashioned quality faucet that will last you for years to come, based on the construction.
I'll have to wait until after the Holidays to install it, but I hooked it up and was so surprised at how nice this works. Most importantly, the on/off and hot/cold movements are silky smooth. I mean SMOOTH. You have to use this to appreciate what I mean. Plus the solid construction and super solid base will leave you wondering how you did without this for so long. If I had known, I would have bought this years ago, did it once, and been done with it. My current one leaks, is flimsy in comparison and is just not even close to this one. I'll be replacing it with this, because to be honest, I've been very unhappy with my current one for the reasons above since it got put in.
Let me say that this is not something you'll want to rush through, it has a lot of directions and parts to do, so it is a tad more complicated that others you may have put in, but this is totally worth it to install once and never have to worry about it again.
I would highly recommend not cheaping out and instead buying this more expensive one, and only having to do it once....trust me, it isn't an easy job for me because the faucet is in a corner sink, so all the way back in a corner, in a corner lower cabinet for access, and I'm no small guy. And in the end, I would have spent this much anyway.

If you are in need of a replacement single hole faucet for the kitchen this Grohe Concetto will meet all your requirements plus some. Small in size it is perfect as either a replacement or upgrade. It uses the latest ceramic disc technology which has proven to be not only smooth in operation but will provide many years of reliable use. The SuperSteel Infinity finish is not only attractive but wipes clean with just a moistened rag when required. The faucet head provides both a stream or spray using a cleverly hidden “press to use” valve. I especially like the Grohe warranty and have only had one instance having to use the warranty in a bathroom renovation completed over 4 years ago. Extremely easy to install and should only take less than a hour to complete.
I'm a plumber, the ease of installation , fit ,finish and ease of operation are a sight for old sore eyes. Grohe has been around for a long time so parts are available for any future issues. Grohe is not a fly by night company.

Grohe Concetta bar faucet
Beautiful faucet for my bar. Even when it started to drip now and then, Grohe provided me with a replacement cartridge. Love their warranty!
